  1. "Fancy dog shop"? Blimey.
  2. Google is your friend if you'll let it be. Here you go: http://www.southwark.gov.uk/a_to_z/service/353/rubbish_tip
  3. You don't have to be libellous to be out of order.
  4. It doesn't have to be libellous to be unfair and potentially harmful. If it's a positive identification, knock yourself out, if it's speculation then it's at best tittle tattle and at worst damaging. el_fed Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > we disagree on this Edcam, but you're entitled to > your view and opinion. > > There is nothing libellous in my original post and > it's a public forum for public discussion.
  5. To be fair, it was a pretty rubbish pub.
  6. Then really it would have been best to send a private message instead of implicating a company in public that might be entirely innocent. el_fed Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Hi Edcam, > > I'm sorry but I only said could it be. 7. Wish they'd hurry up, I'm starving.
  8. I think naming a company without being a witness is highly irresponsible. Can you edit your post please?
  9. As well as Frontline drops or similar, ask the vet for the spray that you use all over the floors and furniture. It works for months and is v effective. I can't remember the name but it really works. Forget anything made by Bob Martin.
  10. I enjoyed this (written by Nicholas Pegg): The Tale Of The Priceless And Irreplaceable Antique Dining Table by Hans Atheist Andersen Once upon a time, some dear old friends were sitting around a priceless and irreplaceable antique dining table. What made this table so precious was that it had been fashioned many hundreds of years earlier from the remains of not one but several ancient tables, making it a unique and beautiful piece of furniture. And so the old friends sat around the priceless and irreplaceable antique dining table, eating and drinking and chatting, occasionally disagreeing about this or that, but on the whole being very nice to each other and enjoying the most pleasant dinner party. Then some of the people sitting at one end of the priceless and irreplaceable antique dining table declared that it would be a good idea to saw it in two. Not everyone thought the same, so they decided to have a vote on the matter. It was agreed by all who sat around the priceless and irreplaceable antique dining table that those sitting down at the other end wouldn?t have any say in whether it was sawn in two. All, that is, except for one little boy, who timidly put up his hand and enquired, ?Please may I ask why I don?t get a vote? Because, you know, I?m sitting at the table too, and I think sawing it in two would be rather a pity.? And the people at the other end of the priceless and irreplaceable antique dining table told the little boy to shut the f**k up because he was an ignorant bully who didn?t know what he was talking about and in any case he had no right to an opinion because he wasn?t sitting at their end of the priceless and oh anyway you get the general idea.
  11. Fair warning about Foxtons from the OP here. Others should stop the tiresome willy waving.
  12. I think Fox is right, as nice an idea as it is.
  13. Oh Lordy.
  14. Why can't you just abide by the rules, like most people do and accept that it's up to Admin how the site runs? It's not as if any of the rules are unreasonable. As you have been repeatedly told, it's not a "for profit" site and Admin doesn't have time to forensically deal with every single element of your posting history. It's not like you've lost anything of value, if any of your posts are worth keeping then I suggest you keep copies in future, otherwise, just get over it and move on.
  15. Howzabout just giving money to charity? Novel idea I know.
  16. This doesn't surprise me in the least. These people really let the responsible cyclists down.
  17. El Pibe Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > and? > So are the north of england and the south of > england. You are rather missing the point. If a website about London doesn't get the distinction it's a curious state of affairs.
  18. They are distinctly different areas.
  19. They're all in East Dulwich, except the Crown & Greyhound. An entirely different place.
  20. And only one of them is even in Dulwich.
  21. Countdown to Lady Delilah and all cyclists good, all motorists bad nonsense.
  22. Next time, follow her home and take a dump at her front door.
  23. Hmm. Lack of spatial awareness is annoying. I hate fat people who walk diagonally across the pavement swinging one arm for momentum.

They ALL overvalue to > get the instruction, especially the ones who claim > they don't. I'm not so sure. They don't really want us to look at it (they have a much, much nicer house on for the same money.) They say there's no point looking at it until the owner returns from abroad and they've spoken to him about the current market. I don't see how this would work as a scam. I'm also finding that they don't ALL overvalue at the moment. We've had 3 valuations, all wildly different and those at the lower end saying that a few months ago they'd have agreed with the higher valuations but not now.

There's one house we'd like to look at that's on for a ridiculous amount of money. Estate agent says they valued it lower but the vendor refuses to drop the price, there it sits, unsold.
