  2. And this is a general ed issue how? Surely best off posting this in the lounge If you don't agree then frankly you haven't a leg to stand on in my opinion

Well said Dover, let them open go through the first few weeks of teething that any new business experiences before providing the usual EDF warmth and compassion by putting them down. The images they posted on Instagram were set up and taken on Monday afternoon ( walked past as they were doing it) and they may well not have posted on Twitter or other social media due to inexperience of using these mediums, the website designer not giving them the password or too busy on focussing on getting themselves up and running smoothly (many different reasons could have caused it) I personally wish them all the best and look forward to a local French bistro in the area as well as a formal French restaurant just around the corner and hopefully the lack of menu is simply down to it being a seasonal daily menu based on what is available at the market that day.
  4. Sadly I still think the biggest crime against transport in the area was cancelling the cross river tram running from Peckham to the elephant, Holborn and so on. A clean reliable form of transport that could have been extended on to crystal palace or linked up to the Croydon tram system at a fraction of the proposed cost of the bakerloo extension .

Oh rendel lighten up It's a bit of fun using the concept of fake news Nothing serious (I hope) However just saw this headline "EDF user sticks head up bottom whilst looking for sense of humour" Young RH of east Dulwich failed to see the humour in fake news stories reported on the EDF thinking they were all real and bashing real road users. This story was texted in by a dog driving around the south circular whilst sticking head out of window to taste the breeze .
  6. Oh yeah What about "Motorists need their eyesight tested cos they always fail to see me when I jump red lights at night dressed in black on a black push bike with no lights or reflective surfaces" says Vincent a deliveroo courier Case backed by the Supreme Court who cite that he is perfectly visible on a sunny day therefore car drivers must be at fault regardless of the time of day !
  7. Can you follow this up with the news about telepathic directional indicators being trialed across London on selective vehicles ?
  8. Whilst housing is an important requirement for London, I do note with sadness that the same emphasis is not given over to business requirements and the rush to develop brownfield sites can lead to a lose of businesses or the lack of space for new businesses to set up or expand into. Both need equal weighting as reducing local businesses can result in there being no additionallocal jobs for the increased population. Hopefully this has been figured into the master plan !
  9. It's a shame that it wasn't also extended via camberwell and Peckham is my main comment
  10. I always found the Sunday Sport to be the pinnacle of truth myself, much more accurate than wiki
  11. I would suggest checking Lynne's statement above with Southwark council The police won't enforce against a parked caravan (https://www.askthe.police.uk/content/q629.htm) if it is parked according to the rules of the road. Couldn't find anything on southwarks website but I may have missed it However as Lynne pointed out parking a caravan on the road will upset your neighbours unless you get on really well with them.
  12. Would you invest in http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?30,1784038 ?
  13. Have you visited the organic shop just as you go into Peckham ? On the corner near the sewing machine shop
  14. God help us all Just don't try to buy lemonade shandy foxy ... They will bring the full Spanish Inquisition into play if you do !
  15. The estate agent works for the vendor and as such will try to get as much as they can for a property as that maximises the commission they get With two agents in play they normally charge a higher percentage to the vendor as there is a bigger risk of not making anything over the sale should the other agent sell it. Sadly there is nothing you can do although it may be worth finding the other agent and putting an offer in slightly higher then you have now to see if it is accepted, if it is your agent is bluffing remove the other (higher) offer and hold your ground ... If your new offer isn't accepted then you have to consider your next move.

  17. Have you tried pretty tapas at the house of tippler ?

Sue Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > TheArtfulDogger Wrote: > -------------------------------------------------- > ----- > > Why do foxes like to dedicate on hard surfaces > > > Who do they dedicate it to? :) Oh c2ap I didn't did I .... Okay that brings me to another bug bear ... Predictive text and the mess it gets you into I have lost track of how many times I have had to send out apologies after...
  19. Angelina, you are of course extracting the urine with that post ....
  20. I've tried red devil, believe me I have but they just can't get the hang of putting the lid down after and insist on wiping their behinds with the squirrels after, who now look like a grey and brown skunk (and smell like it too) Let's face it there is no training them !
  21. Why do foxes like to dedicate on hard surfaces, I have a whole front garden they could use but no they choose to do it on the lid of my recycling box ...
  22. red devil Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Ask him if it was snowing outside?... It was raining that day, not snowing... I really don't get where you were going with that question... Oh heck I see snow relating to flakes of scalp.... Do you think that was subtle enough or would he have twotted me one ?
  23. I saw a bloke on the tube last week who really really needed head and shoulders ... Is there a polite method of telling him ?
  24. Why would you remove anything from the curriculum dogkennelhillbilly? Surely it should be instilled as a set of standards in the pupils and not a separate lesson replacing something else ! I agree that it is also the parents responsibility as well but it needs to be tackled as a problem by parents, school and society as a whole. I'm glad the boy in question is okay after the awful incident this morning and my thoughts and prayers are with him and his parents tonight
