This year I made my usual New Years resolution that failed as I uttered it It was not to make any New Years resolutions ... Lasted less time then it took to say What were other people's foolhardy resolutions this year and are they still in place ?

Maybe they were flying fish trying to beat the southern train strike but ran out of fish food before they reached their destination !

What reason did they give for refusing the appeal ? That may give a clue why they ticketed you in the first place

It's obvious really There are two types of stops Request bus stops where you need to indicate to the driver you need to get on (mental telepathy isn't an option) And Bus stops where the bus has to stop regardless Request stops are indicated by the word request on the stop sign If you didn't put your arm out at a request stop the driver may have assumed you didn't want him to stop

It's a sad world we live in where a once famous plumber let down by falling sales in his franchised business and the loss of his brother Luigi to the madness caused by blue toad licking and his impending divorce to his "princess" who had an affair with Yoshi (and a subsequent baby called baby Yoshi) has resulted in him taking to the streets to climb ladders emanating his one time hero Kong who Mario used to play with as a child. That's the problem with a poundland type diy store, you have to buy loads of stuff just to get to ?50 Still not seen any evidence that ?50s will be withdrawn, just speculation (.even in the radio clip from above) but no confirmation from the bank of England I for one wouldn't like to go cashless as it means banks and other organisations have far too much information about you, your spending habits and can you imagine the chaos when you want to use a card to buy a penny chew .. If you have watched the to show mr robot, if we are all cashless and cyber terrorists hit the card companies (as in the show against e-Corp ) then how will anything occur if no one has cash in their back pocket... Supply and demand issue by the coop really They can see that bread is selling well so they should either order more in or ask the cafes to place a daily order for what they need so that the coop can manage supplies Not really the cafes issue imo

Hi James Thanks for the warning, I echo Kiera in asking about the buses Also can you find out if the roads used for diversions will be temporarily made one way as they aren't wide enough to accommodate neavy volumes of diverted two way traffic ?
