I have been to Drummond Street many times for photographic supplies at Calumet. Have meant to try some of the places there for a while. Apparantly Drummond street was destined to be demolished to make way for railway expansion out of Euston. Not sure if petitions against have been sucessful. Must get there before it's gone forever. London City Airport evacuated after 'chemical' incident
DulwichFox replied to DulwichFox's topic in The Lounge
The fact that people were forced to remain on the tarmac for 3 hours would indicate to me that no proper evacuation plan was in place to deal with such a situation. DulwichFox -
ondon City Airport has been evacuated after a reports of a chemical incident. London Fire Brigade (LFB) said about 500 people were forced to leave the east London airport after some passengers felt unwell. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-37734096 DulwichFox

which is best A4 or A3 printer for photos/graphics etc?
DulwichFox replied to Minitoots's topic in The Lounge
Hi Minitoots.. I have an Epson R1800 that I have not used for some time.. It prints up tp A3+ and produces high quality prints. It is currently gathering dust and taking up too much space and I need to get rid of. You are welcome to have it for FREE. DulwichFox -

Walked by lunchtime.. closed but seemingly some work in progress inside.. Looked at Menu in window.. (No opening times displayed.) Yellow Sweet Potato Curry ?11.00 rice extra at ?2.50. ?11.00 for potato curry ? Is that good. ? Cheepest main on the Menu. DulwichFox

A new restaurant opens in your area.. What is the first thing you do ? Yes.. You have a look at their Website.. Where are they.. ? What's on offer.. ? Prices.. ? When are the open.. ? No website so you pop down to have a look and find it.. Oh it's Closed.. New businesses need to get a basic website up and running BEFORE they open. Keep their potential customers informed. Not having a website gives the impression that they do not intend to be around for long.. Like they are just testing the water. ? The Spinach 'concept' seems a good one that could do well. Just keep us informed.. I'm sure you will. DulwichFox

Civil aircraft > flight paths over ED are a doddle... I did a POEU (Post Office Engineering Union) course at Alvescot Lodge late 1970's Near Brize Norton where the B52's were based. They were LOUD.. The Earth shook when they went over.. DulwichFox

Yep.. especially when it comes from a first time poster.. as soon as the place opens.. Common mistake.. Let us not be too harsh and give Spinach a chance. Will wait for more feedback then take a look at the Menu before trying. DulwichFox

The Real Greek to replace Jaflong?
DulwichFox replied to Louisa's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
I have always thought that the Jaflong Sunday Buffet was not the best.. By not selling alcohol I fail to see how they can make a profit. Not been to the new Jaflong buffet but cannot see it being different. Curry Club meal was good but think they have missed an opotunity to do something diffent with the interior. Very disappointing. Mirash has a better selection but I tend to find all of the food tends to be luke warm at best in all of them. Mirash now adds a service charge to the bill too. I have given up on all Buffets now.
