Not sure if they charged. Foxy

Then don't go to ML. Go and have a > Buff burger in Xo dooh dahh place. > > *End of recorcording for public information film* Well.. I'm not likely to go there. Mainly as I do not generally eat burgers. Having said that, I did have a Burger in the EDT out of nescesity to eat something after 2 very busy days without eating. Most of the time I dont have time to sit down to eat. It's become a bit of a chore for me. I just do not seem to enjoy my food these days. I often go 2-3 days without eating a proper meal. I live on air.. It's impossible to enjoy food when you are diabetic. DulwichFox
  3. What we need is a Bar with BYOF Bring Your Own Food.. The Hob Goblin in Forest hill used to do this.. DulwichFox
  4. I do not like ANY music when eating. Even in the Indian.. I would rather be able to talk if in company. Certainly even from outside MEATliquor the music is deafening.. And that is coming from someone seemingly deaf for not hearing Aircraft noise. Foxy.
  5. We should all of had a letter through our doors.. I did.. fom Southwork Council to confirming residents at that address. Usually there is nothing to do if the information is correct. People are requested to go on line entering the 2 part security numbers provided in the letter and completing the on line form to confirm those names residing at the address. It does not (from memory)request N.I. numbers. DulwichFox

We went by coach and straight into the ground so not aware there was no beer. And no one was allowed to leave the ground as tickets already scanned. And beer is banned on ALL football coaches. My gripe was at the state of the place. A shack in the open air selling tea coffee and very mediochre burgers. Just look at the pictures. That is it. Foxy

  8. I went to Southend FC to watch Millwall away.. What a Sh**e hole.. This is the Away Supporters Hospitality Suite. No beer in the stadium.. What a Fecking joke. ETA We (Millwall) lost 3 - 1 to add insult to injury.. DulwichFox
  9. I just wonder what the average home kitchen Star Rating would be.. ? Whould you meet a '3' ? when you consider all aspects including 'Food Handling' ? How often do YOU wash your hands when handling different food items.. Be honest.. Think about it. DulwichFox

  12. It's a bit like cigarettes ... I knew a guy that only had a cigarette after a meal... He's currently on 40 meals a day.. Foxy
  13. Sue.. we are of similar age and as a concequence remember things like that... Although I have never heard of the Kolmogorov?Smirnov test and have never used or seen Fortran. Did use punched tape when I did a Teleprinter course. Foxy
  14. Hi Lily... We usually meet in a pub at 7.00pm ish and go to eat at 8.00pm On the 13th we will meet at 7.00 ish at The Flying Pig 58-60 E Dulwich Rd. and eat at 8.00pm ish at Jaflong Tandoori 42 E Dulwich Rd. Best not to turn up dead on 7.00 as you may be the first to arrive. Just look out for a motley group. We usually spot people who may look a little lost. Always nice to see new people. DulwichFox
  15. In all fairness M&S was also quiet. I think the initial hystria curiosity has calmed down a bit. It's only a shop.. They are not giving things away.. Are they ?? Foxy
  16. I was in the Co-op this Lunch time.. I could not believe it.. Clean uncluttered aisles.. Shelves stacked to bursting point.. Bread .. Rolls... Cakes and the like.. in abundance.. Pizzas coming out of your ears.. Fruit and veg. fully stocked.. Possibly improved lighting ?? Bright. Pleasantly cool air con.. No customers though and only one till open just for me ?? Asked till person if the new M&S was making an impact but very non committal on the subject.. Think the suits may of been in. Definately something going on. DulwichFox
  17. Some of us will remember the likes... 1200 baud Modems.. I remeber 56k dial up modems.. I had a Tandy TRS 80 16k Home Computer.. Everyone at work laughed and asked. 'When are you ever going to use 16k of memory' we have come a long way.. Foxy

Sue.. My reference to Byron was in response to Mick Mac.. Not to be confused with Big Mac. My reference to Burgers and extras was a general one .. places like the EDT. and was not related to either Byron or MEATliquor. I already have a copy of the original draft of the Menu of M.L. I don't think MEATliquor in any way is targeting people above 45 and probably a lot younger. American Diners and the like have never been my style. even I was 19. But It will do well. All thing that Scott gets involved with does well. He has a good team. Foxy

    Ice cubes

Yer.. Buy a bag of Ice Cubes.. then on the way home they partially thaw out. Put them in your freezer when you get home where they will re-freeze and stick together into one big clump of ice.. Put them in a tea towel and smash with a rolling pin.. Instant Frappe.. Foxy.
  23. My Sony VAIO running Windows 7 upgraded from Vista. is getting a bit tired.. .. but I still have a Toshiba Satelite (Squarish screen) which runs Windows XP. .. also runs The Ubuntu Linux OS. in a separate partition. having Linux on the same machine is handy if you need to fix Windows.. All clever stuff. lots of fun.. and I dont care if I screw it up. I can always fix it .. Again. .. and again. Foxy
  24. I have had mixed reviews about Byron, some very good.. some not so good.. ? I tend not to eat Burgers out because I do not want ..Cheese...Bacon... Tomato... Pickles.. The price is the same if you ask for a Burger without all the above.. ..but you will still get charged a ?1.00 for any extra that you may desire (Egg) ?? Foxy.
