Popped in to the Co-op today.. 13.15 ..The place is a disaster area... No croissants.. cinnamon swirls ... and other cakes. No bread / rolls . just some sliced bread.. Depleted Veg. section. Pizza shelfs empty.. Virtually no milk except flavoured stuff.. No Customers.. No queues.. They are suffering.. Cannot see them surviving. DulwichFox

There was a Large (long) Co-op lorry parked up outside Yamo Momo and a few other outlets last night. It was closer to M&S than the Co-op. Probably awaiting it's 'Designated' time slot ??? at the Co-op. foxy

They carry what looks like a small fridge which sits high on their backs which makes the rider top heavy. Panniers are usually fitted either side of the back wheel low down and give the bicycle stability if loaded equally. DulwichFox -

I'm in for the 11th. Where are we going.. ? Foxy. -
This was sent to me today.. It mat be old but it made laugh.. I just thought I would share... I mowed the lawn today, and after so doing I sat down and had a small cold beer. The day was really quite beautiful, and the drink facilitated some deep thinking. My wife walked by and asked me what I was doing, and I said 'nothing'. The reason I said 'nothing' instead of saying 'just thinking' is because she then would have asked 'about what?' At that point I would have had to explain that men are deep thinkers about various topics, which would lead to other questions . . . Finally I pondered an age old question: Is giving birth more painful than getting kicked in the nuts? Women always maintain that giving birth is way more painful than a guy getting kicked in the nuts, but how could they "know"? Well, after another small beer, and some more heavy deductive thinking, I have come up with an answer to that question. Getting kicked in the nuts is more painful than having a baby, and even though I obviously couldn't really "know", here is the reason for my conclusion. A year or so after giving birth, a woman will often say, "It might be nice to have another child." On the other hand, you never hear a guy say, "You know, I think I would like another kick in the nuts." I rest my case. Time for another small beer, and then maybe a nap. Foxy

ESET is the only A/V that has claimed to of never missed a Virus.. It was at one time not available for sale in the UK in store. It was a download only. It was reccomended to be from a very clever guy a Moderator on FLASHkit .. a serious Web design Forum based in the States with over 600,000 members. ESET was supposedly designed for the US government and is very reliable.. It's the best I have found.. DulwichFox

That's not a moan.. I'ts an observation.. and a very valid one. The same as others here have made comments on.. .. which you have not mentioned.. or had a go at.. You have just singled out Louisa and I for some strange obsession you seem to have. Do you not have anything better to do ? D.F.

Am I moaning ?????? NO.. Then STFU.. I am getting so P'd of with this constant battering from people who:- Do not know me.. Have never met me.. Have no idea what I am about.. What has my age got to do with anything.. ?? My mum used M&S in her 80's. ..and as for Louisa.. Lou is using the new store on a daily basis. So why have a go at her. ? It is worth mentioning M&S confirms 525 job cuts and moves 400 staff out of central London. They are struggling with their clothing outlets. These new outlets are testing the water which come with a 'Get out of Jail Free' Clause. I've used M&S for clothes all my life. so do not play the Anti M&S card on me.. Get a life.. D.F.

DirtyBox Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I use Avast and have done for years, not had any > issues How do you know.. ? If you have no Anti-Virus you don't know you are infected.. If your Anti-Virus is poor it will not find infections.. You only know you have been infected when your A/V tells you it has found something and deals with it. Usually by informing you that a page is suspect and has blocked I use ESET NOD32 ANTIVIRUS 9 Probably one of the best. and there is a FREE help line where you get to speak to a real person. Defender is NOT a substitute for a dedicated A/V. I also use Webroot Secure Anywhere for Malware and all that other nasty stuff. I get reports from both my security packages on a daily basis. and I am not talking about 'dodgy' sites. A lot from Software Sites and from Technical Support sites.. DulwichFox Foxy

The delivery vehichle for M&S was smaller than the usual Co-op delivery vehicles.. .. but still on main road and close to bus stop. The rear access to the new store is simply impractical. New curry house - east dulwich road
DulwichFox replied to Louisa's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
I thought that the new Jaflong Tandoori would have a different menu but they took the chef with them so it would seem the menu will not change. It is a Bangladeshi restuarant as opposed to Indian. I was a bit dissapointed by that.. The Old Jaflong has a new chef who worked there for a while before the move. The food was a little different but also very good. I remarked that I thought it was a different chef. The Jaflong deal seems to be going ahead.. No.. I'm not buying it.. :) These things take time. DulwichFox The place replacing Veer Zara Xoco Bar & Grill is supposedly awaiting a new Drinks Licence. ?? DulwichFox
