  1. M&S likely to be even more busy today due to the Co-op being closed after an overnight break-in and ongoing Police Forensics investigations.. DulwichFox

I would of thought there is very litle likelihood of money being found lying around.. .. and is there anything in the Co-op worth stealing ?? 5 guys.. ?? The Great East Dulwich Heist.. ?? Foxy
  3. I have not been to the L.L. M&S Store but they are all themed and very much the same. My mum was a fan and I used to take her to the M&S Food Hall at Blue Water and she used to use the one in Bromley. I've used the one in Richmond but M&S Simply Food does not offer anything that I cannot get cheaper elsewhere. I'm not one who believes that paying a premium will get you the best produce. I do shop at M&S for clothes. Their staff are well trained, smartly dressed, and provide excellent customer service.. Possibly on par with John Lewis. DulwichFox
  4. They are everywhere.. Usually 4-5 outside Frano Manca.. Quite frantic .. Waiters thrusting boxes of pizza into riders arms.. Riders arguing between themselves. All seems very chaotic as they vie to get the next delivery job. DulwichFox
  5. I always confront people stealing from St. Christophers.. one day I will get a thump.. .. but I will take that chance.. .. a quick piccy. auto transfered to The Cloud. in case they nick my ipod. Foxy.
  6. Beckenham was Cool in the 70's.. The Three Tuns.. where David Bowie used to drink and a few bikers too. There was The George .. .. and there was a tiny pub behind where Sainbury's is now.. that did not sell spirits.. Just beer and and wine ?? Was it The Coach & Horses.. ? Beckenham High Street now is filled with charity shops.. so like Lordship Lane it would seem essential to qualify as being posh. Was a regular destination spot for me at the time... 70's Foxy

I don't think Foxtons would aprove of a Lidl directly opposite them. Propper common init. Lol.. Actually .. Sounds like a good IKEA to me.. Foxy
  9. From Twitter MEATliquor E.Dulwich ‏@MEATliquorED Aug 31 UPDATE: WE'VE GOT THE POWER. Excited to announce we will be opening w/c Monday 12th September. Keep an eye on us for further updates... DulwichFox
  10. I just witnessed a Deliveroo cyclist riding up Underhill Road.. Earphones in... both hands off the handlebars... Rubbing both eyes.. so riding blind.. He went straight across Crystal Palace Road without stopping or looking ??? ... ...He then rode on down Whateley rd. with both hand out-stretched.. to the sides... Death Wish.. DulwichFox

I told ???? to stop the anti foxy trolling.. looks like he/she has found someone else to bully. People with nothing helpful / interesting to say do this kind of thing. DulwichFox
  12. It is complicated but it would seem that Scottish notes are not even 'Legal Tender' in Scotland as mentioned above. It would also seem that although Scottish notes can be used to make a purchase, they cannot be given out as change. But who knows. ? I don't. DulwichFox

Louisa asked if I had been in and I answered her.. So why don't you mind your own business and stop your bash the fox trolling.. D.F.

I have not ventured inside yet. I suppose I will at some time venture in but not in the slightest bit curious. For what I've heard and read here, it sounds like an horendous experiance. One I could do without.. Foxy..
  16. I am sure the mass hysteria will soon decrease ..and the queues die down like they have at Franco Manca. Looks like the electrical problem at the new to be MEATliquor is being resolved so likely to be the next 'Fad on the Lane' when they open. DulwichFox
  17. It would seem to me that paint used to paint these muruls are the themselves the cause of excess moisture being absorbed and preventing the wall from breathing .. thus trapping moisture which freezes in winter causing damage. DulwichFox.
  18. Sounds like people will be able to get served super fast at the Co-op now with smaller queues there.. Silver Lining .. Hey -oh. Foxy
  19. Let me explain a little bit about the queue.... 15 mins before opening There was no queue.. 30 mins before opening there was no one outside. People were not exactly sleeping on the pavement to be the first customer. One noticable character in the queue was the big guy with the pony tail who normally sits outside The Co-op. You may catch a glimpse if I bother to put up a clip from my Youtube channel. Foxy

I too recieved an annual statement from the St Christopher's Hospice charity showing me how much my donations has raised including the VAT claimed back. Evidently a legal requirement if you are registered for gift aid. St Christopher's have now updated their system to a fully computerised one with new plastic Customer Suport Cards which you simply scan to enter your details. No more form filling in. DulwichFox

They have got it wrong before.. Marks & Spencer to close nine shops in the 'wrong locations' but planning 90 new Simply Food outlets and five large stores.. http://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/markets/article-3180382/M-S-close-nine-shops-wrong-locations-planning-90-new-Simply-Food-outlets-five-large-stores.html I suppose the Simply Food outlets can be considered as short term.. easly disposed off if they prove to be not cost effective. The Main stores require a lot more Trained Staff to assist customers with their requirements. Clothing.. Domestic appliances.. They require a lot of display and storage space. A food outlet does not require highly trained staff. Mainly shelf stackers and checkout staff cleaners. Who incidently do a valued job but tend to be lower paid. DulwichFox.

The 4 * 4's that park up on my road on a Saturday are NOT there during the week. ..and they are mostly gone by 16.00-17.00 when I can finally rescue my car from elsewhere. That is if I am silly enough to take my car to shop at Surrey Quays* on a Saturday for my weekly shop. * which has purpose parking facilities. DulwichFox
