I used to use my Freedom Pass mainly to travel to Sth Bermondsey Once fortnight (Millwall) The train was running anyway. It made no difference to TFL if I was on the Train or not. Unless the extra weight of me was using more electricity. How would any Mayor resolve the cost for a huge drop in passengers ?? I do not know. I am not a politician and I am not the The Mayor of London. That is their problem. Under normal conditions where the Economy depends on full employment, Inner London Transport should be FREE. Privatisation greed has destroyed a lot of out transport systems.

Travel free any time on bus, tram, Tube, DLR, London Overground and TfL Rail. Travel free after 9:30 weekdays, and any time on weekends and public holidays on most National Rail Services in London. 3. Khan has always claimed credit for the 'Freedom Pass' Even if HE did not bring it in originally. But now.. All of a Sudden, The Freedom Pass has Nothing to do with Him.. Out of His control. Hypocrite .. Need to get him out. Has too much Power.
  4. Foxes pose NO danger to People.. Cats and dogs. I feed 'OUR' local Foxes. They wait outside my house. They Used to wait for me to come home from the Pub with Fried Chicken. Chicken shop closed down now. I have seen Cats steal the food I put out. The Foxes sit back. Foxes are afraid of Cats. They are mostly timid creatures. I hope that anyone with any intention to Shoot Foxes is brought to justice. DulwichFox

My car was 26 years old.. The tyres were ok as far as tread was concerned but were very old and needed replacing, thinning walls. The tyres were no longer available (QwikFit) The water bottle (For windscreen washers) had split and the pump burnt out. Not practical to repair. Would not pass current ULEZ regs.. With the threat of CPZ being imposed and the problems with Parking in the area generally when returning from shopping, After my mother died in 2012 I no longer used my car. < 500 miles a year. (Not much of an impact on the environment) PLUS I had my freedom pass since 2014. My Eyesight is poor but can be corrected with new lenses and at sometime Cataract operation. (not needed at this time) But not available at the moment due to the virus and Opticians being closed. So once again, as usual, your assumptions are wrong.. Have you not got a Cat you can kick ??? 7. ALSO.. at a time when people are being told NOT to use public transport unless absolutely essential, People were being encouraged to use their cars and the congestion charge relaxed.. Now ... Congestion Charge back with a 30% rise to ?15.00 and hours extended.. Sadiq Khan's Draconian Policies are doing Nothing to help London's Businesses and the well being of everyone in these very troubled times. He has long been totally obsessed with schemes to generate income from the motorist with Charges for Congestion, ULEZ, Parking, Fines.. .. all of which have destroyed many local businesses not only here in East Dulwich, but over all of London. The man is truly a Saboteur. A Destructive person who I find Sinister. ..and we are stuck with him for another Year. DulwichFox. ETA.. When it comes down to Car ownership. ? I gave up my car in Feb 2019 and rely on public transport and walking.

  9. Sadiq Khan has announced that Free Travel (Freedom Pass) for Over 60's has been Suspended for peak hour travel. This means that elderly people using Sainsbury's 08.00 - 09.00 will not be able to use the bus. If they do not drive they will have to walk and carry their shopping back home. What a disgrace Khan is. DulwichFox

  11. I saw Little Richard at Lewisham Odeon Little Richard's return to Lewisham Odeon in July 1975 seemed to have been memorable though for all the wrong reasons. Mick Farren's review in the New Musical Express described 'The debut date of Little Richard's UK tour at the half empty Lewisham Odeon' as 'little short of a disaster. Possibly the person least to blame was Little Richard himself'. http://transpont.blogspot.com/2017/11/little-richard-at-lewisham-odeon-1963.html Foxy
  12. It has been 'Suggested' that Young people will be the first to be allowed more freedom whilst elderly folk will need to remain in lock-down for longer. That seems absolutely Crazy to me.. Young people are more likely to congregate in large numbers.. Partying and the like. .. whilst Elderly folk are more likely to be on their own in any 'Social' activity. Foxy

It appeared to be flying quite High up. Would of been a lot Louder had it of been flying at a lower altitude. On what grounds did you make Your 'Formal' complaint. ??? The Helicopter was circulating so a live incident below and not following a vehicle being chased by Police on the ground. DulwichFox

  15. As for relaxing the lock-down, I cannot see Pubs and Bars opening this year. It would be dangerous to open before Christmas and the New Year which are the busiest times of the year. Opening of Some restaurants MAY be possible if they are big enough to remove some tables to make space to allow for Social Distancing and leave enough tables to make opening up viable
  16. Trump is an idiot suggesting injecting disinfectant.. ... BUT Perhaps the answer could lay in a medicine in the form of an Inhaler. Like the ones used for Asthma. Something that would reach the lungs.. and maybe destroy the Virus. DulwichFox
  17. The East Dulwich Tavern have put their benches inside the pub.
