Instead of charging and making ?millions Just Ban polluting vehicles.. That would reduce pollution. Next problem you would like me to solve instantly ??

Congestion Charge -- It's OK to Congest as long as you PAY ULEZ -- It's OK to pollute as long as you PAY. Masks ??? Go out without one by all means.. BUT we will FINE (Charge) you OK as long as you PAY Khan really does not give a HOOT (Polite version) about any of this. He just sees another opportunity to Make money. Even if that means going against the Medical Experts. And what is really worrying is he is in charge for another Year. Foxy

The Clue is that if the NHS cannot Source masks then the chance of members of the public getting hold of them is all but impossible. Sadiq Khan just wants us all to stay at home and Never go anywhere without one. (That just is not practical. ) But Khan is thinking about how much money he can make in FINES like he does with every other scheme he Dreams up.

I Bought a Black Washable Mask from Dulwih DIY. it cost ?6.75. It is really a Dust mask for Decorating.. I later found virtually the same Masks on line for ?8.75 (for 5 masks) Just checked that Ad. and now ?13.99 for 5 masks. Possibly due to Sadiq Khan suggesting making the masks compulsory. There are so many Ads on line for Masks (packs of 50) at reasonable prices. However there are so many scams. DulwichFox

There is no breach of current law when a retailer splits a multipack to sell items individually, once the correct price is displayed. Shops must display the selling price of Every item offered for sale. ... DulwichFox -

How do they know how much is being stolen? Unless they are just assuming and extrapolating...I reckon the shops that are open are experiencing more than they usually do because a lot of shoplifters are kleptomaniacs Every item in store is recorded.. every item Sold is recorded.. Stock taking shows what's left and what is missing is assumed as Stolen. Apart from that Shop Lifting is Blatant.. these people don't even try and hide it. They just walk out with goods. They do not worry about CCTV. If approached they get aggressive.. Staff are Powerless. This is NOT due to Coronavirus, It has been going on for years. DulwichFox -

Yes it would of been commissioned around 2014. I remember the tree stump and was skeptical at the ?10,000 price tag (as I remember) to create the Totem Pole. It was Boarded up for many Months whilst the Artist worked on the project. I was actually impressed with the result after it was finished. DulwichFox.

Prime Minister moved to Intensive Care - non political
DulwichFox replied to dbboy's topic in The Lounge
I still find it difficult to believe that Boris Johnson .. Our Prime Minister was treated by the NHS and Not in a Private Facility. If such a facility exists. ?? Surely security would have him isolated in a separate ICU location. ?? Then I would think (and accept) that on his release from the ICU he would of been placed in a Private Ward at St, Thomas' It's all been made to believe that he is just like us. 'We are all in this together' But we are not. 10,000 'Ordinary' People have died in our Hospitals and Many Hospital Staff. Do not get me wrong. I wish Boris a speedy recovery to full health. It has been suggested that it Could be a Year to get back to normal. I cannot see us Ever getting back to Normal. I cannot see a time when we will be able to go to the pub for a drink and meet people. Possibly Restaurants will initially need to restrict people seated. Remove tables to create Social Distancing. No Group Bookings. Just Singles and Couples. It's really is Grim. It's Global. What the F*** can we do. We cannot continue like this for much longer, This country is a lot better off than other parts of the World, Donald Trump has absolutely No idea. Or perhaps he does. ??? Religious Fanatics in the States stating that No Virus can get to them while they have God on their side and are refusing to Self Isolate. Stay Safe.. Foxy

Distance keeping in small local independent shops
DulwichFox replied to NewWave's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
One of my Favourite indies on Lordship Lane is Organic Village. It has continued to stock many things we all need. Unfortunately it seems to of been a victim of its own success. I went there today and it was RAMMED. FULL of people with no attempt to limit the amount of people in at one time. I expressed my disapproval that there were Too many people in the shop. But with NO response. I will in future be very careful before I go there again. DulwichFox -

Watching the BBC News it really is clear just how dangerous and serious the situation is. Our NHS workers are putting themselves in Real danger. Exposing themselves to exposure to this Virus. Many people Still all but ignoring keeping a safe distance from other people. I believe the government need to BAN people jogging. Running past people Panting and Breathing Heavily. It's ridiculous. I really cannot see an end to this. I really cannot see a time when we will be having a beer in the pub or enjoying a meal in our favourite restaurant. I cannot see how Pubs, Bars and Restaurants can survive this. Anywhere where people congregate on mass. DulwichFox -
