Opening Post deleted.. ??? Must admit to being confused as some stalls apparently open on North Cross along with some shops on Lordship Lane including William Rose. I was thinking it was Sunday and shops must be getting ready to open tomorrow (Monday) The Old Sweet 'Shoppe' appeared to be preparing to open.. I think the Return of the Sun has brought people back out. Certainly very busy on the Lane. DulwicFox

Restaurants are likely to be by Booking only.. small groups 2 - 4 max people. Tables will need to be removed.. to enable social distancing.. Maximum stay times applied.. Same restrictions have been suggested for Pubs.. No drinking at the Bar.. Drinks allowed outside where Pub Garden is available. Outside pavement seating restricted. Maximum 2 drinks.. 1 - 1.5 Hour stay.. Toilet facilities need to be addressed. Big Problem.. Cannot see how it will ever work.. Hardly worth the hassel. DulwichFox

I'm not convinced there will ever be a Post Covid time.. Covid will likely be something we will need to learn to live with for a very long time.. Pubs and restaurants are not going to ever be the same. Certainly NOT in my life time. Many businesses will not survive. Not many people are likely to take on new businesses. Many Restaurants rely on the sale of Alcohol. They cannot survive for long on Take-aways and Deliveries. Many pubs rely on the sale of Food to stay afloat.. Any Vaccine is unlikely to be available to everyone as The Drug Companies will charge the Earth like they do with their Miracle Cancer Drugs. The Elderly will be Most at risk and will be allowed to die.. They are Too costly to keep alive. Heart problems.. Diabetes.. Disabled.. This is a Global Pandemic. Not just East Dulwich..

Rats will not come nearby if there are Foxes about. Foxes kill and eat rats and mice..

Bike Hanger on Ulverscroft (Wateley Road End) was broken into recently... Lock cut off. An expensive Bicycle was stolen. Others were left alone. Lock has been repaired with stronger lock.. Reported to me by neighbour. Foxy.

My parcel Did arrive this morning at 11.20am. Postman just rang my Bell and Slung my Parcel (3 burner Food Warmer) in my front porch. (Not Secure) No need to sign for delivery. Foxy.

How can the Elderly who have Freedom Passes travel during those times.. I.E. Hospital appointments and the like. Can they Pay and if so How ?? You cannot pay cash on the bus. DulwichFox

It would seem that the incident happened near the junction of Darrell Road and Upland Road. It was between 05.00 - 06.00 am this morning.. According to a local Resident, there seemed to of been much Commotion around that time. DulwichFox
