  1. Southwark Council has signed a deal with JCDecaux UK Ltd to allow 90 x 2.746m (9foot) tall x 1.472m (4'9") wide free standing pavement advertising hoardings. Was not long ago Southwark Council (not sure which party) was threatening to procecute people who put up posters on lamp posts for Lost Pets.. Fox
  2. Huntsmen/women often tell us about the good service they provide by getting rid of Dozens of foxes each year. Benefiting farmers and pet owners.... But.. As soon as someone suggests they are slaughtering dozens of defenceless animals each year... They reply, "We only take one or two foxes each year. Most foxes get away unarmed." Funny that.. Fox.
  3. Racism is brought about by Ignorance... Beating someone up is also a product of Ignorance. You cannot beat someone up just because they are Ignorant and you are in the right. Otta. White Trash could also be considered as a Racist remark, whoever is saying it.. You cannot fight racism with violence. Fox.
  4. So many Threads on EDF seem to Morph into something which bears no realation to the original subject matter.. A bit like an old World War 2 'True Story' The head of a line of marching troops hear a message from The Front... 'The Rations Have Been Increased' This is passed down the line. By the time it has reached the end of the line... 'The Russians Are In Greece' Perhaps we are all a bit guilty of this..:-$ Fox

  8. Boris Johnson would have no idea where Croydon or East Dulwich was. Even though he abolished the Bendy Bus No 12 Fox...
  9. The Ticket Machines are a pain. I have missed buses trying to run fot a bus then trying to buy a ticket only to see the bus drive off. If you buy one in advance, they expire after 1 hour. The machines do not give change. They often swallow your money and give no ticket The are a real pain. Vexed Fox
  10. Masarla Tea Ingredients 350ml/12fl oz water 100ml/3?fl oz milk 4 black peppercorns 10 green cardamom pods, lightly crushed good pinch green fennel seeds small piece cinnamon stick 1 tsp fresh ginger, peeled and roughly sliced 1 tea bag sugar, to taste salt, to taste (optional) Preparation method Heat the water and milk in a pan with the spices and ginger until it comes to the boil. Turn the heat down and cook over a low to medium heat for 15 minutes. Be careful as the milk can easily rise and boil over. Once the volume is reduced to a large cupful, add the teabag and let it brew for one minute, or longer if you like strong tea. To serve, strain into a cup and add sugar or salt if using, to taste source:- Here Method 2. Use a Masala Tea-bag 2 minutes. :)) Foxy Fox

James, the initial bags were Free. In the original Blurb (which I have lost) was a order form for more bags. It would seem they are NOT Free. Mick

  16. Go to Iceland and buy the things you can carry and actually need.... Or drive to S........'s and fill the car up with things you think you need but don't and fill up your new Brown Bins with all the stuff that you end up wasting... Buy 1, waste 1 Free... Fox

Jeremy Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I'd certainly like a train that avoided South > Bermondsey... being crushed in a train packed full > of lairy Millwall supporters is no fun! This season (Aug-Apr) Millwall has only 6 midweek evening games at The Den (Millwall's ground) So hardly a major problem. Most trains are laid on for Away Supporters as South Bermondsey Station has a direct link to the North Stand (Away Supporters) at the ground. Millwall supporters cannot use this link so many avoid using the train. As the journey from London Bridge to South Bermondsey is, what 3 minutes ??? Is that really too much to bear. The time slot for supporters travelling to the ground is very narrow. Millwall supporters are no different to any other football supporters Usually in good spirits on the way to the game. Try and share the enthusiasm. Enjoy the moment. Millwall Fox.
  18. People who claim to dislike Iceland seem to have an Over-rated Sense of Importance. It would seem that to them, that shopping there is below them. Well, they need to get over it. Unlike some other outlets, Iceland has the survived the Test of Time by providing the kind of service that many people want. Fox.
  19. Always buy Genuine Ink Cartridges.. Refilled Cartridges will usually have different colouration to the original. They are often not fully filled so a false economy. There may be residule sludge from the old ink, which can damage your delicate printer ink nozzles. Good place to buy Ink is. Ink2U ***They sell Genuine and refilled cartridges. (stick with the genuine) Fast reliable next day service. Contactable friendly helpfull service. I have used them for years. Fox
  20. Perhaps they should charge a Tenner to park a Buggie in the pub. 'Cat amongst the Pigeons' Fox
