  1. Defo sound like it could be a dead mouse.. But you can usually smell dead mice... Funny time of year for flies... But Blue Bottle Flies breed often during the warm months. Both larvae and pupae can live through the winter, but adults die when it gets too cold. Blue Bottle Flies sometimes lay eggs in the wound of a living animal. The larvae, when they hatch, eat from the host animal. This is called "myiasis" and can cause infections in the animal. Source WARNING Nasty pics of Blue Bottles Could be caused by heating being turned up due to the cold snap.. Fox.

  10. You Probably recieved a mail containing a Script... When you opened it the script ran on your PC / Laptop that read your mail .CSV file. The .csv file contains a list of all your contacts and is used to copy all your contacts to your new mail if you change your Mail client at any time. Like Windows mail to Gmail. Generally It is more of a nuscience than a threat. As all your recipients will send it to their contacts if they open the mail. You will not recieve a mail back from your contacts as mail clients have built in protection to stop 'Circular' mail responses. Changing your password will not stop anyone sending you a mail, unless you have blocked the individual. Often the mail will appear to come from yourself as sender details can be set to anything. Just be carefull which mails you open. Fox.

  16. The New Crossing should be by the Co-Op. Where there are no road junctions That is where most people Cross the road. (Jay Walk.) Putting the crossing by the Bishop will mean People will still try and cross by the Co-Op. Fox.
  17. I see work has started on what I have been told is a New Crossing. This is sited by the Bishop Pub at the Junction Lordship Lane / East Dulwich Road. There is a Box Junction there with traffic / Buses turning. Because of this and the Busstop after the Box Junction and the Roundabout, traffic is virtualy permantly backed up there. This would mean that if there is a crossing there, traffic would tend to back up over the crossing. Or ? when the lights of the crossing were green for traffic to proceed, there will be no where for the traffic to go. Another Brilliant Southwark Council Design feature. No doubt they will install a Camera to catch drivers who get stuck across the Crossing when the lights turn Red. Fox.

This is very true. File fragmentationis not the big problem. It is the Fragmentation of the remaining Free disk space that causes the most problems. When you are writing to fragmented disk space. It is just good practice to do regular Housekeeping of your system. Fox...
