  1. I must of been watching a different game. England looked sharp in the first half but after the half-time chat came back out a different team. This often seems to happen, same down Millwall. I sometimes think Managers should ST*U at half time and let the team reflect amongst themselves about the first half. We were lucky to steal the Win. Not at all convincing. Lots of room for improvement. Foxy

There are other Global issues like Religion and Race issues. The World Cup brings together Peoples from across the Globe and Unites them in The game of Football. Let's keep this Thread about the Football and not Politics. Just foe once. DulwichFox
  3. Fine.. Greggs have been providing affordable bread for nearly 80 years. DulwichFox
  4. I wanted to donate an armchair, but they do not accept furniture at the shop. They gave me a number for furniture collection 0208 768 4571 My chair was bought by my mother 10 years or so ago but as part of a 3-piece suite saw very little use. The chair was bought from John Lewis and is of high quality costing ?450 back then. So worth selling. If donating Chairs/sofas, they MUST comply with Fire Regulations and have labels to confirm this. My item will now be collected next Tuesday. DulwichFox
  5. Brown Eyed Girl .. Van Morrison
  6. When will be able to enter our predictions for the World Cup 2018 Its getting close.. Foxy I've found it. not sure if it has just come up or was there all along.
  7. I was trying to donate a small Bedside Lamp. Not a Kettle, Toaster, Electric Heater... I suppose they have to stick to the Regulations. DulwichFox
  8. St. Christopher's Charity Shop are no longer accepting Electrical Goods with the exception of New, Boxed, Unopened items. All electrical items need to be PAT Tested (Portable appliance testing) This is not likely to be Cost-effective. DulwihFox

Having said that, I would be quite > content to live without occasional abusive private > messages from her and even more content not to > have to read her ED hating/nimby drivel. Nobody here on EDF Has to read anyone's 'ED hating/nimby drivel' as you so put it. Fox
  10. I don't think Wickes make up the pallets. They arrive at Wickes made up and they do not want them back. If they did, they would charge a deposit on them. DulwichFox
  11. People on here have In the past requested pallets. Try advertising it in the Items For Sale and offered section, as available for FREE if you wish to get rid of it. DulwichFox
  12. Well East Dulwich WAS in desperate need of another Nail Bar. Peckham has lots of them. Fox
  13. It's getting to the point where Stabbings are no longer News-worthy. People are no longer shocked by such news. The Government knows that while the people are fighting each other, they are not fighting the Government. This makes the people divided and weak.. and that suits all Governments. It's all very very sad. DulwichFox
  14. So why did she swallow the Fly. ??
  15. Early in the morning Whilst the World is still asleep, Father drinks his cup of coffee Kisses mother on the cheek. Off to work he goes, What he does nobody knows. But he's sure to bring home money every week.
  16. Lou has been here for 11 years. Can anyone who has been here that long say with a straight face that they have never upset or come into conflict with another user. DulwichFox
  17. Despite Pubs closing every day, there are over 7,000 pubs in London. Now, I have not been to all of them and I doubt that anyone else has. But I think it would not take me too long to find a better Pub. Not been to the Half Moon since it's re-opening, or the Dog for that matter. Probably get round to it at sometime. I mainly go to The Pub to meet people I know. DulwichFox
  18. Basically, aircraft on their final approach are limited to a rate of descent that is safe and comfortable for its passengers. So will be at a lower altitude over South London. Planes taking off have a much steeper rate of ascent and reach higher altitudes more quickly. Aircfraft into Heathrow would normally travel East to West over South London. I have noticed Planes travelling West to East over recent days and if having taken off from Heathrow would explain why they are flying at a higher altitude. I.E. they are taking off, not landing. 19. I think that the job of ANY Moderator on Any Forum is to insure that post do not contain any Offensive comments, such as Racist, Sexist, Homophobic .. comments (I'm not sure if there is an -ism for remarks against any religion) Comments that are offensive to certain groups of people. I have Never seen Louisa say anything that would deem to be offensive. I do not think anyone should be Banned, Blocked, banished for expressing an opinion. Thats what forums are for. Discusion. The drop in posting on EDF (and there has been a Great reduction) may well be due to people too frightend to speak out for fear of being blocked. Nothing wrong with a good bit of Banter. Jesus, take a look how they go on in the House Of Commons. lol Foxy.
  20. A Label Anglaise will cost around ?15.00 where ever you find it for sale. I have had one from Ginger Pig Borough Market many moons ago. Very little meat on them. ? and you need to take care how you cook them. Foxy
  21. Let us not forget Aquarius Moon. Foxy
  22. Maybe the hot weather has caused it to seek shelter. I doubt it has gone very far. Could be hiding under a neighbour's shed. ?? Hope he/she comes back soon. Foxy.
  23. Today the Council with the help of the Police were busy 'Cleansing' the streets of Windsor of rough sleepers. Supposedly putting some of them up in Bed and Breakfast for the night. Then back on the street after the Royal Wedding.... ... So no long term help with accomodation offered. One guy having been on the street for 8 years. The situation swept under a very red Carpet. Disgracefull. ..or should that be a very Royal Blue Carpet. ?? DulwichFox
  24. I like Wimpy. There are not many left .. Locally ? ?? There is one in Bermondsey.. You still get a proper plate and metal cutlery and there is Salt, Vinegar, Ketchup and paper napkins on every Table. Also waiter service. A far cry from McDonalds. DulwichFox
  25. Harvester .. ?? That wasn't posh and wasn't decent food. They had a 'Hidden' policy there. If you did not like your meal, you did not have to pay for it. It was never publicised. You just had to know. DulwichFox.
