  1. LM, paint is a program which you can find under Start > All programs > Accessories I think but also think this depends on your OS. You can crop the image in Paint too.
  2. LM, I'm sure you realise this, but just a heads up - that screenshot might need a bit of cropping if you have any portion of the sensitive document in it!
  3. Narnia Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > > > That's what you say! Let's see the evidence. Disclosing the contents of personal messages defeats the object of sending them, surely? I'm sure if DJ did do this, people would get even more upset. If admin REALLY wanted to they could look in the database to confirm it. They wont because they have better things to do. EDIT: I've just realised this might come across as looking a bit like damage control on my part, so just to pre-empt any thoughts along those lines, I'm not worried about any PM's I may have sent anyone regarding this thread - feel free to disclose away!
  4. H, I am sorry if I have offended your wife, it was not meant as a serious accusation, I thought it was quite obviously a joke, and I'm sorry you've taken it to heart and it has caused outrage in your household. My moral compass clearly swings in a different direction to yours, and for that I'm thankful. I'm going to leave the joke where it is, and I'm sure admin will delete it if they don't find it acceptable upon your reporting of the post. I've no idea why DJ made the comments about men that she did and whilst they might be disproportionate to the current discussion, I'm sure she can back up those comments with stats - if she can't, I can. I think your attack on women was also disproportionate and whilst you started your argument with "there is every evidence" you have yet to provide any. Yes, this thread has gone way off course, but I for one have learnt something new. If you care to know what it was I'd Google 'fleshlight'. For those thinking it's 'flashlight' with a typo, you'll be erm 'enlightened' is probably not the word, but it seems appropriate in any case. EDIT: Another apology to H, I think mysoginistic was a bit harsh. Sexist and patronising definitely came through.
  5. And the stats that IV posted may not back up the particular point she was making, but they do make another - that men seem to be getting more enjoyment out of sex, and more often, whilst the women are left to fake it! Perhaps that's why they're on their local forum talking about the best adult toys lol.
  6. Sean I see your point, but c'mon H is using the thread as a platform to attack individual members and stereotype a whole gender! Or perhaps it's just because of his criticism of women, who he describes as rejecting social decorum and sexually insecure. His words, verbatim. Is this statement meant to be ironic as well? H has written some of the most attention seeking posts on this thread! 'Chastise', seriously? Well I'm glad the forum Head Master came along to keep that silly little girl in check! And 'sexist' - irony again? Really? What on earth was he aiming for? It seems that for the most part he's written inflammatory posts to wind particular users up. As a relatively new user, I don't play forum politics so it's lost on me and probably most people who will read the thread. To us, H just looks like a misogynistic halfwit. If that's what he were aiming for, well done him! Whether she fakes it or not, H, that is no way to talk about your wife!* *This is a joke. And here's the smiley to prove it :))

I haven't been offended by anything on this thread. I will admit to being a bit shocked though. Not at the content, but at the context more than anything else.
  8. All I can say is do not take what sation staff have to say as being accurate. It's not their fault of course but they just have no idea what's going on. Last night at Shoreditch Highstreet around 6.30pm, I was told by a very friendly member of tfl staff that there was no Overground service to Forest Hill that evening due to an accident and that all trains were terminating at either New Cross or New Cross Gate. He even scribbled said info onto the information board. A minute or so later, I caught the train to Forest Hill. And again this morning. A member of Southern staff anounced at ED station that myself and all the other people waiting for trains were all 'wasting our time'. His advice was to find alternative transport or take a 'snow day' as he had no idea when the next train was and one hadn't gone past in at least half an hour. I caught the train to London Bridge within the next minute or so. Now, today and yesterday I chose to take direction from the info sscreens rather than the staff, which this week paid off. Last year I wish I'd done the opposite. I am at work in East London so I'm hoping that I will be able to get home at a reasonable hour!
  9. Captain Scarlet Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I think some women can be much ruder then men! > Dirty mares some of yoy can be! > can make a builder blush!. Haha, don't pretend to be coy CS, I've read your posts in the 'a joke' thread.
  10. Oh please, this is a thread about an adult toy. That is all. Some posts may have been borderline what one would normally expect on a local community forum, and others outside some people's comfort zone (including myself), but what's with all the faux social commentary? Let's assume for argument's sake that women are completely rejecting 'social decorum', where is the evidence that they are doing so to overcompensate? And overcompensate for what? Living in a patriarchal society? Well thanks Freud, but you're probably better off leaving your armchair psychology at home, no one is that envious of your pen. I'm guessing you're here because of a social weakness. See where guessing gets us, H? Oh there's that armchair psychology again. Tell us again why women do things, go on H, it's not partonising at all and you're doing incredibly well so far. If you're referring to my earlier post, I'm not depriving you of anything. I simply reiterated an observation made by other forum members, namely that placing a winking or smiling icon at the end of an inflammatory/nasty comment does not make it seem any less so. If anything, it just makes the poster look smug. But in future don't let me or anyone else stop you. After all, you've nothing to lose. And don't you think that saying you would have posted the icon versus actually posting the icon amounts to the same thing anyway?
  11. No-one is calling all girls lesbians, or are you actually referring to the gay ones? What else would you have us call them? Maybe it's just the way I'm reading them, but some of your posts seem to be taking on a bit of a sinister undertone. And the smileys aren't helping: http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?20,577117,577872#msg-577872
  12. Well karter it's not rocket science is it - if a 'lesbian' is sleeping with a man she either: 1. Is not enjoying it 2. Is not a lesbian. Plenty of best of bi worlds out there though aren't there. But I agree with your idea that nothing beats the 'real' thing, i.e. a partner with whom to share the experience.

A quick Google led me to the "Platinum plus" model which comes in at 7.5in length and 5.1in girth, but is worryingly, not waterproof! The "heart throb" is 7.9in long apparently. So I guess it depends on the model...and your definition of 'average' as well.

  17. If I'm very tired and doing a non-thinking task that requires basic but repetitive motor skills, I sometimes forget I can't just Ctrl+Z things.
  18. If I'm feeling a bit low and I'm near a computer, I watch Maru If I'm feeling more than a bit low, then I don't really have a coping strategy for that to be honest. Lucky for me it doesn't happen that often.
  19. Horizontal scroll bars. Thanks Tarot ;-)
  20. Pavement yes, but garden/drive? I think you should expect to have stuff taken because that's the nature of things, but I don't feel it's right.
  21. When I first moved to London my brother told me if you want to get rid of anything, stick it in your garden. I didn't believe him at first, but it's true! When we lived in Streatham we wanted shot of an old tv that didn't work - stuck it on the drive, it was gone the same morning. In Clapham, vans patrol the streets looking for stuff to take from your garden all the time. When my brother renovated his house he practically used it as a free skip service. Lots of stuff got taken - old baths, fireplaces, pipes etc. Now in Ed, if I ever want anything getting rid of and can't be bothered to put it on freecycle I stick it at the end of the drive. I'm not sure how I feel about it, mind.

  23. Well done LM, I know there's another signature on that list. Btw, have you seen this:

  25. louisiana Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > As a cyclist, I'm interested in how other cyclists > deal with daft cylists. If I'm caught completely by surprise, I normally say "dude, that the f*ck?", which I find highly embarassing as I never normally say 'dude'...I mean who does??? Seems it's a subconscious outbust. If they end up going in the same direction as me I normally overtake them and point out they just made a very silly/dangerous move.
