Macroban are you cheating and looking up past archives? Oh how I remember B-jams (or however it was spelt) and the sainsburys before that. The co-op used to do wonderful slush puppies and 7/11 offered a similar iced thingy but more tasty. The co-ops video store was always an adventure with stands that were easy to accidentally knock over. And my street was so quiet one could play rounders/skating/bike jumping (dont ask about the latter) all day/afternoon with out ever having to move out of the road. Oh and the neighbour were much nicer about accidentally smashing the odd window

Having already expressed my views on this establishment on another thread I won't repeat myself here. I agree with Sidue there was/is no need to do any bad mouthing of local competition and really makes one wonder of the attitude of staff/owners of said establishment. Am I encouraged to venture into this place with all this talk of new ideas and improvements when open "slagging" off is done? hmmm lets see...

I think it's a bit harsh to label anyone having a rumage thru charity donations as low life and in effect scum. There are those also out there in need - just coz they may seem outfitted in "socially acceptable" get ups doesn't mean to say they're not wanting for anything. Now I'm not saying I condone the behaviour of rumaging through bags left on pavements for charity as that is just wrong but I will say something against the unecessary branding of ppl others deem as low life - books and covers my dears!
