Theatre for 6yo and 4yo - Wicked?
KalamityKel replied to Undiscovered's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Out of the two I'd go for Matilda. It's what you would expect it to be. Clear story line, you can hear what is being said and sung etc. The flow does sag a tad part way through where there is the risk of a moment of boredom but picks up again quite quickly. Wicked, well, it's noisy and easy to lose track, for little minds, in what's going on. Found the sound set up unnecessarily way too loud. Hope this helps... of course just my thoughts and experiences. -

recommendation for sax instrument hire?
KalamityKel replied to Tanza's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Not the best selections of saxes but... https://www.howarth.uk.com/rental.aspx Do not be fooled by thinking they're just a double reed (oboe/bassoon etc) special ist, they have a big section devoting to saxes too. I've not used Howarth's for rental and have not been in a while but they offer great advise and customer service to those in the know and complete novices. -

Apart from reducing the pensions > bill, this will solve the housing crisis as well > as the NHS capacity issues. Not concerned when you hit 65? May as well ban families of more than two children, introduce gender screening to ensure there is the correct balance and make entire families live together in a community forever rather than insist the new adults fly the nest at the earliest opportunity *sigh

Why women never respond to my online dating profile?
KalamityKel replied to Jeremy's topic in The Lounge
Suppose it depends on what sites you're using? -
I'm gonna throw it in... was only a few and not for very long... those ruddy annoying gnat buzzing bikes that are frequently zooming around late at night disturb more *shrugs

Glad you changed pots/soil... something (a four legged animal) may have added it's own not so nutritional input to the pot... just a thought :)

There is a difference between spraying and soaking though... My feline chum is recently often coming home looking like he's been dunked in a bucket of water. As much of a nuisance he can be to the local area I think a drenching is a tad OTT when comparing to a little sprinkle/spray.

Sorry to be pedantic "cars are subject to queuing for no reason" erm... surely a red light is a red light and is a reason even if it's perhaps not a justified reason.

Didn't realise something natural like grass was meant to feel like carpet. apbremer is there more to why you're considering this silly fad of artificial outdoor greenery other than sheer lazyness?

www.23andme.com is the other big one floating around at the moment... apparently gives you more of an insight on genetic traits and stuff. My mum did an ancestry one not so long ago and was a bit disappointed with the level of information received. Of course all of these services depend on more and more people contributing to give more comparisons. Suppose it depends how deep you want to delve.

I'm only grrr as it's just junk emails that I get anyway :-(
