What if you bought your property before the area become the "desirable" shopping area it is now? Does this mean you have to put up with the continuous pressures such development and "progress" always will bring? Not all development is positive - again I am not referring to M&S moving in or not but the development plans for the site. Unless you live in the immediate area where the delevopment will affect you you cant possibly understand the impact expected and cannot comment.
