  1. I am not wrong. read the RTA sections I mentioned. If you do not understand how the insurance industry functions wrt to the auto arena, then read up on it rather than entering a yeahbut whataboutery death spiral.
  2. This is a booster. If your child had the pre-school immunisations, it makes sense to have it again. If you did not get your child immunised before, I would wonder how useful the booster is.
  3. one last time as you do not seem to understand the insurer agrees to - as a legal miniumum for the RTA- insure you for 3P liability As long as that P1 and P2 contract is extant, they are obliged to meeet any 3P claims Should you fail to adhere to that P1/P2 contract, then P1 can cancel the indemnity. This is not retrospective, until they cancel, you are insured and they are obliged to meet any 3P claims until that that time. Its is not possible to backdate that cancellation. You are insured under the RTA. Should the agreement be cancelled due to your failures, then from that point onwards, your are formally uninsured. Until then, they will meet 3P claims. If there is a claim during this period of cover, they will pay out. At that point, they can take civil action to recover their losses due to breach of contract between P1 and P2. the 3P does not suffer due to the P1/P2 dispute. This is how the insurance industry works. As I flippantly alluded to , what do you think would happen if P1 decided that they didnt actually want to cover you for something that happened last month, despite a P1/P2 contract being in place during that period? I fail to see why this is such a complex issue
  4. I am right on this. I may be considered rude but i have outlined how the industry works & the liabilities of the insurer. This is not contestable. Whether you take that on board is your decision. have a great evening

Erm... without meaning to patronise, do you think the multi billion quid pet industry is one based on some existential concept of affection for animals?

Yes, the insurer will > still pay out to a third party, but if you don't > have an MOT the insurer will then claim those > costs back from you, therefore your insurance is, > de facto, invalid - ultimately you will pay, not > the insurer. No,, no de facto required, you are insured unless the insurance has been expressly revoked. This is not a grey area. This is enshrined in the basics of the RTA with regard to the insurers minimum responsibilities. Whatever happens outside that requirement wrt to non adherence to the T&C is between P1 and P2 and is a civil matter. Now no more man in pub guff. No need for any thanks, I am more than happy to assist.
  7. RTA section 148-155 Loz- unless the insurer formally revokes the insurance contract between 1P and 2P , then it is valid for the third party claimant. It cannot be any other way or the whole industry would collapse. The important distinction is the indemnification of the 3P here- this is the minimum requirement under the RTA. obviously if you have a wretched car with slicks and broken suspension, then you will likely be penalised if you claim for your own damage, this it cannot affect the cover that the 3P is guaranteed, whatever the insure may say
  8. there is no such thing as "road tax". It is irrelevant however to the status of a third party claimant.
  9. yes it is, think about it and the relationship of the indemnity cover provided. A third party cannot be penalised because you have failed to meet your side of the contract and the contract is still extant between the first 2 parties - this is basic insurance practice. Otherwise every TP claim would be rejected where a car was deemed unroadworthy after an accident .walk away from google and have a think.
  10. No it doesn't, Insurance is still valid irrespective of the condition etc of the car but as you have broken the terms of the agreement between you and the insurer, then they will take you to task for their losses. this is basic stuff.
  11. Just thought I would add this here. I only know one of the group featured, but love their creativity and mojo. https://nationofbillions.com/the-business-of-south-space-records
  12. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-43484031 The comments - from both sides after this flabby article - literally suspend belief(hyperbole is the new black on here it seems)- have we really have turned into such a wretched country? ETA, interestingly there are more fish in the Thames than any point during in the past couple of hundred years. It has been a long process but without EEC/EC/EU water directives forcing our craven hand, it would have take a lot longer and we would far less to show
  13. stop clutching your pearls and making a drama out of it. You made a provocative and antagonistic statement with the intention of getting a response. Do not be surprised if the response is not what you expected
  14. Starting secondary school is all about gaining independence whilst also feeling secure and a phone can help with both of these. The comments about parents' giving into peer pressure is exactly part of that growing up. As they get older, their friends become more important to them than their parents. They will ask friends' opinions before yours. It seems to me you are seeking to create a rod for your own back. At what stage are you going to say, yes you can?
  15. Hi, There is also a new Saturday morning art club which two art specialists from local primary schools are starting after Easter in the building by Dulwich Park carpark. Sorry I have no more details.
  16. Its the elephant in the room WRT the fishing industry but they were still scrapping with the icelanders over white fish during the early years of our EEC membership as out waters were finished. It was only with the unwelcome imposition of Euro fishing Diktat and management do we have anything left at all. Grimsby and the other white fish ports were moribund & in a terminal death spiral by that time and there was no going back after the EEC wide fisheries policy was introduced - indeed, we only have herring on the menu because of a draconian approach that lasted many years. The non stop tropes about Spanish boats taking our red white ad blue fish are irrational bollocks. Brexit will finish off the UK fishing industry if we are left to manage it ourselves And yes Iceland and Norway manage their stocks carefully and the fishermen understand why this needs to happen. ETA because they have not been pandered to by successive governments & have not developed into foot stampy petulant spoilt children

The sooner its replaced by > something that doesnt feel like a dystopian > fantasy novel the better. heavy handed CPZs and ethnic cleansing seems to be your thang. You really are a charmer
  18. The fishermen really ought to zip it- they singlehandedly decimated the stocks during the 60's and early 70s and appear to be intent on destroying whatever is left. They have resisted all attempts at taking on consensual limits in order to preserve what stocks are left and seem intent on going for a last big send off before we can officially declare the water around the UK biologically dead.
  19. the pervading smell of the fellow travellers lingers on him I find. whether you think that is relevant it is up to you, but given that no one in this affair is exactly truthful - including our own government, You may as well use murrays join the dots missives to take a position - as good anything as else out there probably

Wasn't that what happened? That is what Wikipedia states yes. The misuse of HMG property ( a Range Rover) was an interesting one.
  21. I have no axe to grind on either side here but what is not in doubt that he is a great self publicist and had carved himself out a niche in an area that by its very nature is grey and is habitu? of issues that can never be comprehensively answered
  22. You should do some more research on Murray and why he was sacked and booted out of the diplomatic service - preferably not from his own endless takes on the subject. You may also wish to check out his fellow travellers for a bit more perspective.
  23. And St Thomas the Apostle in Nunhead for boys. Closest Catholic school for girls is probably the school opposite the Imperial War museum.
  24. I think- but not sure- that individual explosive mechanism in airbags are numbered .obviously you will not know the details of this unless you lose one
