  1. The map is confusing or something is not quite right. On the map I can clearly see my road in one ward - put in postcode on the site and it tells me my address is in another ward. I think there is still some work to do on this!

Why do you not answer the legitimate questions raised?

How very strange - you seem to have gone into your account settings after I posted this and changed your profile so we can no longer see when you were last logged in - I wish I had taken a screenshot of your visit at 14.37 this is rather suspicious yes ?

  5. the OP was online a few minutes ago- surely an opportune time to clarify and answer any questions raised in this thread ? At best, this is shonky and unprofessional for any group to approach an issue in this manner.let's hope we can get some background to what this is about before whatever is being promoted is further devalued.
  6. Please be wary about providing any personal information unless you are confident about the background of any source on the internet.
  7. why are you harvesting details undet such a non specific premise ?
  8. May I please ask why Dog Kennel Hill is not on your list? Just curious.
  9. Saila, I too had a horrible first birth and dreaded labour a second time around, so I asked for an elective cesarean. To get this I needed to have an interview with a gynaecologist at Kings where I explained what happened first time around and how this had left me feeling about going through labour again. The elective cesarean was a breeze in comparison. The only downsides were I could not drive (used online shopping) and I could not lift my first born for approx six weeks. The upsides were I was mentally much better, up and about much sooner and recovered much quicker (I was not put back together very well after the first birth.) I would recommend a cesarean if you are not wishing to go through the birthing process again.
  10. Still need a referral for private.
  11. If you want a charter school, you will need to move to a home within a mile of the school - for ED, that needs to be near its permanent half built site. I would also recommend Kingsdale, which is reasonably close to Crystal Palace and a free bus operates between CP parade and the school. You might find this website useful for finding schools in the area where you are looking to move. https://www.schooldash.com/school/136309/
  12. I think All Saints Peckham are doing a Christmas lunch and may need volunteers
  13. lets not make this into the usual perceived slight pearl clutching exercise please. keep this about the Gowlett
  14. The best piece of advice I had from a headteacher was that most public opinions about schools are usually about 5 years out of date. She said this about secondary, but I think it equally applies to primary. The current senior leadership team, the staff that they support and motivate, the children progressing through the school now and their parents, who make up the rest of the school community, are what best reflects a school today. It sounds like you liked all of these, so you should go with it.
  15. I have nothing but praise for Kings. We are so fortunate to have such a superb hospital on our doorstep. Its magnificent team works extremely hard to solve whatever problems are thrown at them. I am currently under the emergency two week wait clinic and have appointments at 7:30 at night and on Saturday morning, showing how much they are willing to pull out all the stops for people requiring urgent care. Finally, I can't help wanting to reply to the silly posts about foreign aid. Foreign aid is usually given in trade deals and financial loans. Offering Kings hospital a deal on a bunch of Perkins engines is hardly going to solve the problem. It is the Daily Mail and UKIP that have created the idea that foreign aid is cash. It never is and should not be considered as such.
  16. There have been rats in the areas for years. Used to see them quite often around the station and the park by Sainsburys. Isn't there a saying that you are never more than 5m from a rat in London?
  17. flavor flav outta Public Enemy
  18. Its is now closed and the lights are out
  19. So I contacted the council about the knotweed on Oglander and the response is, it is for the homeowner to request for it to be dealt with as it is a chargeable service. It's so bad, the owner (no idea who it is) is either absent or does not care? Where does this leave everyone at risk of contamination?
  20. Sad news today, the Gowlett will be closing down . Will be sorely missed, especially considering many of the the alternatives in the area are so anodyne good luck Johnny & the crew
  21. Southwark Council needs to get some parking attendants down there and fine them every time they park inconsiderately.
  22. isnt it about time someone resurrected the suspicious chalk marks on walls trope of yore ?
  23. There is a house with a very overgrown garden on Oglander between Marsden and Muschamp and I think it has Japanese knotweed. Can anyoone tell from these pictures? If yes, what happens next?
