  1. PM'd you.
  2. I think electric razors can be harsh on young skin - get the young shaver (see what I did there?) a Gillette Mach 3 or similar with a cream/foam/gel suitable for sensitive skin, e.g. http://t0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRjmXICFReIdZLrvDZWCe-6BhyJ55Pxxhh1u-xsf5E4SXWlHGyHYA
  3. I thought it was Male Candi - or was that just the one night when you were on the *pull with Nette Curtains? *xmas cracker joke #32.
  4. Nice to see Stevie Potts' son Daniel played so well on his debut.

  6. This is more disappointing news. I have been registered at Melbourne Grove for a few years now and have withstood the incompetence and rudeness of reception staff and put up with being fobbed off onto Nurse Practitioners; I really thought things were changing down there. I have seen the two doctors I mentioned a couple of times and hoped it was the beginning of a patient-doctor relationship at long last; but now I know they are locums and could leave at any time I really can't see the point in staying. I saw a post some time back recommending the surgery at Dulwich Hospital - anyone registered there?
  7. Are Doctors Gosht and Ganeshan only locums then? They have been there more than a couple of months - I thought they were permanent.

    Life's too short

The Comedy of Embarrassment is coming to an end I think. The Office started it and Warwick D's impression of David Brent could finish it. There are still laugh-out-loud moments (Les Denis and Cheggers playing blinders) but I ff through a lot of it, trouble is the actual situations/circs (what is going to happen) become so very predictable. and PGC - Death In Paradise?!? did someone hit you on the head with a rolled up copy of the 1974 TV Tinmes?

It tastes like proper English Mustard (even though the company is in Glasgow) and is delicious (available at Pretty's in NthX Rd: ?2.15/200g jar). No vinegar.. "Water, Mustard Flour, Salt, Wheat Flour, Citric Acid, Turmeric."

I think he made it all up to explain to his wife why he- "constantly had a wet tissue in me pocket."
  14. I struggled for years to locate the fifth dimension and then found out it was a health club in Stroud.
  15. Potatoes!? Rotten transatlantic garbage! Gimme a bag of fried turnips anyday! On the subject of mustard - and refinement - it has to be this - http://t2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQEIpZYb6CtcYlRzYdiUH5dDM4tlr8wFKYKLviDssCMXmYMiz5tRg

  17. Brendan's recipe is not far off but I would leave out the mushrooms, tom puree and balsamic and add mushroom ketchup and kikkoman soy sauce. Caramelise the onions slowly to release their natural sugars, add flour and slowly add stock (fattened up with the mushroom ketchup, soy sauce, lea and perrins and a spoon or two of redcurrant jelly) - adjust seasoning.
  18. So who gets the 'role'? The get-on-with-it-and-stop-muckin'-about/lazy one? or The conscientious-attention-to-detail/arselicker?

  22. And will they call it the twin towers just so we all know they're taking the piss?
  23. I tried experimenting last year and decided to Brian a Ham - I asked Salt Peter and Mable Syrup to help but when we saw the cost of the Fleur de Sel de Camargue we opted for the thrifty route and are preparing to brian some spam in dishwasher salt. Well what the fuck is this thread about then? Oh I see... alright... ... Hey Guys! Isn't it great here! I love ED (and I love calling it ED and saying guys a lot). But hey, well done you guys, seiously, the EDF is all about you and hey, you know, it would be cool if you ate less of our poor animal bro's (oops! and sisters too guys you know?) right guys? But hey, one step at a time guys - am I right! Ha, ha and lol, and omg (that's the vegan type of omg natch). I know you guys are kidders but that's cool too - But you guys are super and you, like, engage too, you know? So just.. wow. Tofu rools! Ha, ha - just kidding (though the Tofu blood pudding at the bluebrick cafe tastes fab - just like real blood!). Better?
