I already nominated him for that Frank and he ignored it - this makes the whole naughty room null and void and you can leave now. (the key is under the dead cat by the window)

  3. Cannot believe that the creator of the thread-muddying, OP-distracting, train-of-thought-destroying, LM pleasing and logic-defying 73 game has posted here. I realise that 'Less is More' has probably been on your mind for a while Doc but to start that doomed thread with the frankly 'Micklewrightian' "Okay guys?" and leave it at that is, quite apart from being simply lazy, the sort of itch that, once scratched, leaves a blemish that stains the page and does to other threads exactly what you accuse others of here - Too many silly threads relegate some could be interesting ones to obscurity before their time. J'accuse!
  4. erm... what are the lyrics to that again?
  5. 200+ now - unthinkable when it was 6 for 88. Broad turning into a proper all rounder. Deserves the 50.

    HP sauce

A long time favourite and an ever present BUT - putting Guinness in it does not make it a stylish gourmet objet du d?sir any more than selling a sugary chemical-laden brown goo with Jack Daniels on the label means it is an authentic barbecue sauce from Tennessee. *grrrr*

    Oxo cubes

It shouldn't bother me, I'm a grown man, but why after all these years did oxo decide that a cube - which is what they are supposed to be - wasn't good enough so they had better redesign the little flavour-saviour in the form of an 'X'?! Quite apart from the poor sods who had to go around with small fruit knives knicking out the v-shapes on millions of cubes to create this abomination, they have managed to get away with giving us a stock 'cube' (?) which is several micrograms short of what I am expecting. It's driving me up the wall and yes I do have too much time on my hands.
  8. Guiltless is more fun but careless is more bother.
  9. Cripes, it's Alec Baldwin!

  11. As the saintly GB would say "Yer can't tell 'ow good a pitch it is until both sides 'ave 'ad a bat!" - Swann and Broad rearguard is giving England a bit of momentum and if they gat a chance to bowl tonight I see Indian wickets falling.

Using that word is just not acceptable LM we've been over this before... It's not pelmet it's valance or, if absolutely necessary, cornice board.

Did you mean smug or are these morals those that fit the individual so perfectly as to be indistinguishable from say a snakeskin leotard or a fur mankini?

  23. Sunflowers are one of the hardiest and easiest things to sow and if planted now there is proably still enough time to get a good display in Sept/Oct. Also throwing down a handful of coriander seed (the kind you buy for culinary use) onto roughly forked/scratched/dug-over land will guarantee a fragrant and abundant growth in the unlikeliest of places - it flowers too.
  24. HE'S BEHIND YOUUUU!!
  25. If we're going to revolve around Franky I want to be on a horsey not in one of those carriage things.
