  2. Who knew Fury was going to be so light, and relatively quick? Chisora looked like a fat old man in comparison and when he did connect it was at the end of the arc of the punch with little power left in it or was on Fury's shoulder or back. If Fury could develop some power in those punches (seems to have very slim levers) he could shake things up a little. Chisora was too heavy and knackered too quickly. [great to see a fight on terrestrial tv though].

  4. You have to go now Frank - or A.N.Other may show up masquerading as you and disgrace themselves by double-dipping the dhal.
  5. If they can get rid of the smell of those awful bath-salt products flogged out of there during the last incarnation. It would be like an old Virgin record shop in the pre-megastore era where you could waste hours minutes listening to Radio Gnome and wondering whether Gong and Here and Now were esoteric geniuses or hippy nitwits.
  6. MP & the HG King Arthur: On second thought, let's not go to Camelot. It is a silly place.

That settles it - definitely a Vauxhall Tavern tribute act circa 1989. They were a trio (Crystal, Alec-sis and Felon) whose big finish was an acapella version of the Paula Abdul classic 'Straight Up'.
  8. Dulwich Supermarket usually has very good/cheap toms.
  9. do you only eat veggies from greengrocers?
  10. Do you mean sweetbreads? (thymus or pancreas usually veal or lamb) If they're not soaked for long enough and blanched properly the flavour will suffer. I like my offal mixed like in a haggis or in faggots which I ate a lot growing up in the Midlands. Faggots, gravy and mushy peas in a batch with pepper and vinegar! slurrrp.
  11. 'sright, also known as head cheese - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Head_cheese
  12. Afternoon team!? Should this be under the polyamory thread? *keeps hand firmly on box*

  14. Brawn is a meat/jelly combo acheived by boiling a pig's head - it can be solid enough to slice or loose enough to spread. Hard to find (done well) but Peter Gott (Sillfield Farm, Borough Market) used to do a good one (don't know if he still does) together with a fine spicy haslet (like a pork meatloaf) which is another pork product that's getting harder to find.

    Treacle.

mais wee certainmont, but it's pronounced 'ponz' Champagne would do (is a Champagne the result of a fake fall?) ...maybe with Faux Foie Gras
  17. Isn't it all Scientology bs?

    Treacle.

If they did they would probably insist on you buying a bottle of Ch?teau d'Yquem first - so they knew you were in earnest.
  19. treacle? someone mention treacle?
  20. maxxi

    Treacle.

You'll be lucky. Thanks to the EDF equivalent of the Deliah effect you can't get grade A treacle around here for love nor money. Shed loads of Foie Gras still though.
  21. Chisora tends to flap and slap with his jab at the start which could give Fury an opening but if it goes later Fury tires easily like a lot of big men who are made to work hard early on - so my guess is Chisora in rnd 8.

Only four!? Some people just aren't trYing.
  23. Pietersen 4,6,2,4 ...202 n/o! and a declaration! Excellent. ETA: 202 rather than 200 n/o.
  24. Could we not ease into this maybe, and open a transfer shop first? *licks back of hand and presses down on blurry picture of anchor*
  25. The SIGNED Linda Evans pic looks like one from your personal shrine collection Nette, or did you used to 'do' her down at the Vauxhall Tavern?
