  1. EP: "To believe ones actions can provoke ones desires when they are so profoundly only going to result in imprisonment or death shows a massive disconnect with reality." aka - religion. Your statement could be said to apply to any religious figure/prophet/saint.
  2. I'd like to see Palace win it - just to get Holloway back on MOTD (and to see him jousting with Mourinho). And to rub Miwaww's nose in it of course :)

Can't think why not - Newcastle don't want him back so who else is there? I hope he signs. He may be a big/physical player but he has some skills too - unlike whoever BFS would get as a replacement.
  4. 'Cough' the number 14 loudly whenever it gets quiet.

I never said I would do it there and then (I didn't and, until today, hadn't) and have not stated since that I had, had had, or had had had done it since then - until today. Alles klaar mein freund!? Gut! Und das beste von britischen Gl?ck f?r Sie! "Ein andere bier bitte! Nein nicht bitter bitte, lagerbier bitte! LLL!*... (und so weiter und so weiter und so weiter)" *Lache laut los (trans: LOL)

Now, now, if you recall I withdrew the "whatever-is-the-opposite-of-yours" prediction and agreed I would play nice and by RD's rules. You know who I'm bound to go for anyway (no mind games... honest) B) Oh, and RD? Retire? To spend more time concentrating on the EDF Fantasy Premier League you mean? If I look down I can just about see you.
  8. Have pm'd my CL prediction. Agree about losing the maxxi - a poor week when you only get a point or two should not be rubbed in by those on the missing list getting more.

Rhinestone Cowboy Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Many thanks for sorting the league week in week > out RD Pretty glad with 6th being an Iron Yes congratulations for having the stamina to see it through. A mixed bag of a season - came top once, scored nil points to win the first misere cup, now dead last but with a Champions League final to come - as an Iron I'd settle for that too :)

Ist test - 1st innings a bit of a shambles but great recovery in 2nd innings; 2nd Test would have won if rain hadn't come along (made NZ follow on); 3rd Test - a bit of a shambles but no Pietersen Pietersen still the key imho.

Pietersen to come back, Bell was ill and Prior will get over his wobble. This was the first test for a while and the bowlers were on top form - plus Lords not aways best ground for England.

  20. Don't be an arse treehugger - it is not nitpicking to have a critical opinion any more than it is symptomatic of an idiotic desire to please to say that we adore it all and are SO lucky to have it in our "modest" suburb.
  21. I liked the toad, didn't much care for the crocodile(?), the cigarette in the doorway or the rest as it makes the house look like an exploded sketch book. I'm sure the inside is worth a look though judging by the report on the beeb.
  22. Not even content with wearing a tracky - knob. I hope someone follows him around for the rest of his life and any time he shows a photo of the final celebrations (to his grandkids or anyone) pipes up and says "Yeah, but you didn't actually play, did you? I mean, you weren't in the team were you? But I suppose you aways wore your kit to games whenever you were injured or banned right?"
  23. *Bob* Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > No spoilers, please! np - they didn't make the final.
  24. Brightly coloured pictures on the walls, crazy foam sculptures and scarecrows everywhere - I quite like the deliberately naff quality of most of it - like walking through an outdoor infants school. The outside of 265 LL continues the child-like theme - it's a mess, like a teenager's bedroom.
  25. I don't know if they made the final but Montenegro's rapping spacemen (complete with full suits and helmets) will take some beating. http://s1.jrnl.ie/media/2013/05/croppercapture21-2-630x341.png
