  1. Sounds frightening Uncleglen...am guessing you feel anxious now each time you approach that location. For bike owners who want tips on keeping their bikes secure, this might be useful: http://lcc.org.uk/pages/bike-theft-and-parking

  3. He's going to work for the legendary SAF's son, Darren.
  4. Ahahahaha! Reminds me of the film "Harvey".

I remember that. What I cannot remember though, is when the old hospital was knocked down. Was that before or after Sainsbury's? --------------- GA-VIN RO-SE'S, PINK AND BLUE ARMY...

Beautifully captures the atmosphere. I would definitely have picked up the pissy 1p!! Hey! Blue Revolution! You are in the 3rd photo!! --------------- GA-VIN RO-SE'S, PINK AND BLUE ARMY...
  12. You are right re. mirrors, Sue...sadly the little birdies tend to fly into glass too - so I try not to clean my windows during the breeding season. Anyway, "my" newts are bonking like mad again...rabbits appear celibate by comparison! :))
  13. Yes, well done to DH...6th is not bad at all...though I do remember getting very excited about 10 weeks' ago when they were in line for automatic promotion (never mind POs). jonsuissy, those pictures are wonderful, thank you. The skyline has totally changed...and crowd numbers increased somewhat...and Holy Mary Mother of God, those shorts were INDEED short PGC. Jah, I really recommend away games...I've been to two (Fetcham Grove and Nyewood lane)...the atmosphere was friendly and laid back. The grounds weren't as smart as DH's, but nicely "tatty" in a comforting kind of way. --------------- GA-VIN RO-SE'S, PINK AND BLUE ARMY...

  19. annabel42 Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- Hello annabel42, Feel sad to learn that you are suffering additional stress whilst also grieving for your son Roger. I don't know whether or not you are looking for a solicitor, but if you are I would recommend that you use a firm with experience in dealing with accidents/incidents involving cyclists. There are a few (though not a huge amount) about and I notice that this firm http://www.cycleinjury.co.uk/about-levenes-cycle-injury has "been successfully providing legal advice for LCC members for 10 years". The LCC themselves might even be able to give some advice. I hope this additional nightmare ends for you soon. 20. As far as I know you cannot store seed potato - not that I've ever tried. It naturally wants to grow at this time of year. What I would say is, if they are first earlies, you can save space by planting them closer together than normal and harvest them extra early for some small (but super early) new potatoes. As you harvest some, you will make room for the remainder to swell to normal size. Oh, and don't worry about Mick Mac, he's harmless - and from another planet.
  21. Awww thanks BR. Nice that you were there to show me the ropes. Shame DH didn't get their 3 points. -------------------- GA-VIN RO-SE'S, PINK AND BLUE ARMY...
  22. Moyzie's after the big one >:D
  23. Many thanks, BR. :)) Buggar Bognor indeed. Still, no matter...Maidstone also lost (PHEW!)...which means DH are still top and leading by one point. Whoopee! DH need to up their game now if they want to retain automatic promotion (I don't think my heart could withstand another playoff final). -------------------- GA-VIN RO-SE'S PINK AND BLUE ARMY!
