Does anyone else have madly-flapping butterflies inside their stomachs in respect of United, City, Sunderland, Bolton, Stoke and QPR?...I almost can't bear it! Edited again to say: fucking hell...unbelievable climax...City in (by the skin of their teeth)...QPR stay...well done...glad it's over...Jesus, I need a lie down... PS: Bloody Tevez;-)

On Sunday, DH will be playing away to their rivals (remember last season?) Bognor Regis in the final play-off. I'm guessing this is going to be a very interesting game with BR wanting to get their revenge for last season. It's all a bit deja-vu only with BR substituting Leatherhead. Good luck to Dulwich, they really deserve promotion (IMO). KO: 3pm at Nyewood Lane. ---------------- COME ON HAMLET!

You are welcome - Mr. Medic.

Hubby uses Tescos Mobile. He gets 500 minutes, 5000 texts and 500 MBs for ?10.00. He says there are cheaper contracts too for ?7.50 without data. They are also a "Which Best Buy"and provide a very good customer service. Edited to say: wasn't sure whether or not you wanted sim only (to which the above applies). But Tescos do other deals with/out phones. Take a look at their website.

Hello Doc, You could try the Auctioneers and Valuers: Frank G Bowen Ltd. Apparently (so a friend tells me), amongst other things, they auction off stuff recovered from the Metropolitan Police. Details here.

Is it necessary to undress to underwear for a Osteopath ?
Laddy Muck replied to hilili's topic in The Lounge
I have been seeing an osteopath once or twice a week for about 6 months now. Stripping down to bra and pants is normal, though - often - depending on where she is working, I am able to retain leggings. Osteopaths work holistically and, therefore, tend to look at the body as a whole as, for example, (as in my case) hip, knee and hamstring problems could be directly related to the lower back. I notice that your current osteopath is a "he" and am wondering if you are a "she"? If so, might you not feel a little less uncomfortable seeing a female osteopath? If so, I can recommend Amberin Fir at the Grove Vale Practice. She is the best I have seen and has single handedly ensured my steady progress following a broken coccyx/fractured sacrum. She is highly experienced and also very sensitive to any feelings of unease. I recall once having to remove my leggings when wearing a scruffy old pair of knickers underneath; she sensed my mortification and sweetly handed me a little towel which which to cover that area! I hope you get well soon. -
Very sad and worrying. I hope he recovers fully.

I, in addition to making the request that you no longer PM me, merely issued my responses. Perhaps you'd like me to print our communications here in order to refresh your memory. I am not sure what has got into you UDT, I've never seen you like this. What an ugly thread. Goodnight all.

"Our" discussion? How dare you! I recall your comments though. I wasn't interested then, and I am certainly not interested now. I'm out!

UDT, you have made me really sad here. I know you quite well from our football team and have never had a problem with you. However, I really do think that what you have said about our lovely Katie (and she is lovely) is well out of order. Katie, I hope you are alright. Am seeing you later on today. I'll try to be on time.;-) xxx

That's really interesting, pixysunflower - thanks for posting that. This bit made me smile: "Central attacking players at the time were burly goal-hangers...". Ahhhh, how uncomplicated life on the pitch must have been pre that damn offside rule! ----------------- COME ON HAMLET!

Do they serve fried dumplings too? Only, I really don't like the look of the boiled/steamed ones - especially when oval/spherical in shape. Yuk! -

My word, Nette! The food in the photos looks most appetising. I am now going to have to research that place lol. Is it only open on Saturdays then? Edited to add: the loos are fine, Hibbsy! -

Oh well, I may as well give my tuppence worth. Yes, Ganapati is by no means cheap. However, to my mind anyway, it is quite unlike any other Indian restaurant around our parts; and - as some have already pointed out - it is definitely not your standard "curry house". I have found every meal there exquisite. Service has always been absolutely spot on, too. However, Mr. Pallywotsits' point over competition is an interesting one and, I must admit - as much as I love the place - if another establishment were to spring up locally which served similarly stupendous food at less expense, then I would probably go there instead. As things stand, I don't mind paying Ganapati's food prices purely because I feel I am paying for a unique dining experience. As far as I am aware, the nearest equivalent in terms of dish creativity, taste, presentation, service etc. would be Babur, but that restaurant is a little further away: on Brockley Rise. Having said all of this, I realise this is subjective: i.e. it all boils down to personal taste. Mick Mac is right about the alcoholic drinks being overpriced though: they are that. Notwithstanding these witterings, I had a fabulous evening at my first Curry Club. The meal was delicious, the service faultless, and the company excellent. So thank you, Mr. Pallywotsits for arranging (and for sparing me the initiation ceremony in respect of no longer being a Curry-Club-Virgin). See you in 2013. -

I won't make the pub, but shall see you at Ganawotsits @ 7.30pm. Merci pour arranging, Monsieur Pallywotsits. -
Match might be postponed due to frozen pitch.

That must have been the Crawley game, Mick Mac (which I missed due to Flu). Glad you had a good time. I love it there! There's a match on Tuesday KO 7.45pm against Erith & Belvedere, should that be of interest. ------------------------- COME ON HAMLET!

Sorry UDT, but I think you are mistaken. As far as I am aware, there is no way Mr. Medic has "irritated" any of us. In fact, some of us (me included) have been trying to sign him up!
