I was speaking to an ex-Chairman of the club yesterday about Paul McCallum (the young DH striker who has now gone to West Ham), and he was telling me that each time PM does well in West Ham, that - under an agreement between WH and DH, that DH will receive money. I just wondered what the term is for this. I know it's not "royalties". Does anyone know? And how does such an agreement work - in general?

To be fair, older people have for years been treated as on the scrapheap by employers - the result of age discrimination. I.e. the problem had little to do with the coalition's spending review and/or cuts, etc. However, unemployment in that sector will of course now be exacerbated as these cuts take effect.
