  1. I'm just posing questions of course. You don't have to answer them You rarely do Not unless you mean starting a reply with "SJ/John..." and then making a completely different point unrelated to the question
  2. btw, is that what Totnes is really like? or does it just have a lot of crystal and woo shops?
  3. Still going with that OTT, no perspective angle Louisa? You are doing yourself proud. Keep it up
  4. oh 'arry 'arry 'arry 'arry http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/cardiff-city/11050570/Malky-Mackay-not-a-murderer-rapist-or-paedophile-says-Harry-Redknapp-after-ex-Cardiff-managers-racist-texts.html
  5. looks like you've thrown "perspective" onto the pyre voluntarily, so no need to ban that
  6. what Otta said - RRD is great LA Noire - not so much
  7. to take your logic Louisa - take EVERYTHING that's illegal now, and work back through time and make it legal again Still happy? or have you realised that sometimes a rubicon is crossed and enough people no longer want something and wish their lawmakers to enact a ban?
  8. ha Jeremy - of course not really. But given our history.... And we did have a pint when met at random none of that seemed likely when it kicked off in his office
  9. "The only fight i've nearly had was with an EA" oddly enough, me too. yet, strengely, we made up, he sold our flat and he sent a christmas card months later
  10. None of this matters anyway - not until Lousia comes along and tells everyone The Truth but comparing banning plastic bags to IS banning dance and music is nuts All manner of small levers are being pulled in an effort to slow down environmental pollution - unless... unless you thing all of that is hoeey and just a "belief"?
  11. Mail broke the story so they deserved the link I reckon
  12. what, my link to the story on the last page not good enough for you??? grr
  13. NXR to London Bridge is about 60 minute walk - good exercise Or - walk to say, Camberwell and you'll hit a bunch of other routes headed into that part of town I reckon buses won't be that bad anyway - at least if you leave a little earlier it's not a full train strike, and many other people will be travelling to other places
  14. OT can't promise much of anything this season
  15. well that expensive psychologist they employed on a 5 year contract last year has to have something to do, right?
  16. I'd often see Trev on the tube on match days when I was travelling back to East Ham
  17. ah, the ubiquitous Sandro.. I mean Sandra
  18. Zoiks - so that's what Tan had on mackay http://dailym.ai/1tmOA7o
  19. Hopefully they will object to your rear extension application as a thank you Mind you the language is so OTT it might just be a trolling effort - then again, that posting history is quite the record of nosey self-interest
  20. The disconnect between your conscious feelings and how your body is reacting must be, as you say, bewildering As others have said - it's easy to look at others and say "well, they are coping" - but there is no telling what's going on there But nor can you ignore what's happening - if you can't identify any set of factors which are contibuting then teasing them out through talking seems like the best way. But again, I would suggest not being so quick to gloss over your circumstances as normal, and no worse than others. We aren't all made of the same stuff - we all have different plusses and minuses. Just because things seem to work for others, don't assume you should be doing the same You have been through a number of big life-events in recent years and even though you seem to be through them, your desire to return to what was normal might be the cause of your body resisting?
  21. oh don't worry, no meanness taken It's one of the things I like about old dogs, bark is worse than their bite ;-)
  22. " Your life is what it is, no? Work, financial pressure, the work/motherhood balance, illness and death of relatives - that is part of life - for everyone- is it not?" This was the bit that stood out for me. Obviously many things in life are things we all have to deal with but particularly with work, you can change things. What are your hours like? How early/late do you see your kid(s) on a work day? Do you take work home with you? How supportive is your manager? Because those things can be changed. (if they are indeed a problem at all)
  23. "Celebs pouring buckets of ice water over their heads. Make it Vomit please." I. Don't. Even. F***ING. Know. Which. Charity. It's. FOR!!!* which underlines how ghastly the whole thing is * yes I know it's easily found
