  1. There was a youtube video featuring the Balotelli-Parker incident. If you watch Balotelli's face and head movement then I think you can conclude that there was no violent conduct intended. On the other hand, if you focus purely on the back heel then I understand why people thought it was a straight red. On balance, it wasn't a red card at all.

BBC's Premiership top goal scorers Well according to the above link, 12 players have scored more goals than Defoe. Even Lampard, who has spent some time on the bench, is above him in the scoring charts. Also Van Persie has out scored Adebayor and Defoe put together at this stage of the season. Oxlade-Chambers done well on his premiership debut yesterday. Looking forward to when Arsene plays his young guns. Frimpong and Wilshere in centre of midfield. Oxlade-Chambers and Walcott on the flanks.
  3. I like to drink Oolong Tea now and then.

  5. I thought the idea of devaluation was to give a boost to export markets.
  6. But if Defoe is on a fantastic rich form then why does Redknapp leaves him on the bench? Okay, I'll give you more time to think about the answer for the above question. Not entirely sure about Balotelli's alleged incident was a red card as I think he tried to take his weight off his foot as he fell and spun awkwardly. I don't know about Lescott's.
  7. Michael Owen's goal ratio is pretty good too but he is not a regular for Utd. But if Defoe is on a fantastic rich form then why does Redknapp leaves him on the bench?
  8. I tend to find coffee from independents better and cheaper than the chains.
  9. No doubt Jermaine is a good player but is he in the same bracket as other top premiership strikers? I think not. If you look at Tottenham's goal difference then that in itself suggest the need to score more goals.
  10. Devaluation of Sterling isn't new and there was a time when you could get $4.50 for each pound during the days of the Gold Standard.
  11. Torres relied too much on his explosive pace. His injuries have slowed him down and losing a yard of pace can make a difference to scoring goals. Dalglish is a good manager but the players he has bought were not of real quality apart from Suarez. I can't see Liverpool winning the Premiership within the next few years at least. Tottenham was very unlucky today and their lack of finishing, as I said before, will (have?) cost them the Premiership title. Although Tottenham can still win the league, eight points behind City is a tall order even at this stage of the season. Redknapp needs to buy a goal getter in this transfer window or he will have to settle for champions league qualification. Arsenal may struggle to qualify for Europe this season but I think with the number of youngster coming through then they will be Premiership contenders next season. City are increasingly looking like champions and getting vital points despite a weaken team.
  12. The Peckham Rye ward also covers part of Nunhead as well.
  13. Never a problem when it comes to wages, hey RD.

  15. Looking at the CPZ and controversy threads it's clear to me that you've got no idea how to debate issues and your responses degenerates into foul mouth abuse if someone disagrees with your views. Moving on, I will not be dictated by you or anyone else for that matter, so playing your small minded games will be of no consequence to me. If someone has taken exception to what I've said to them then they need to look at their own behaviour first before pointing the finger at me.
  16. Obviously Rooney has not seen the Hitler video. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/16654724.stm
  17. Oh dear, Otta & AM aka Laurel and Hardy ganging up.
  18. Otta, you wouldn't know what the word intellect means. I'm more than happy with my intellect. One day I hope you too can show some intellect but I suspect hell would be in deep freeze by then.
  19. I was at the Peckham Community Council meeting last week and saw how the councillors dealt with a difficult situation where a local resident felt there was no consultation on the Old Kent Road recycling centre. But yeah, I'd like to other councillors appear on this forum since local authorities have more power than ever before these days.

Not true at all. It's only you that I've called a fool and loser. If I was saw you on the streets then I would call you a fool and a loser as well. Sod all you can do BTW.
  21. Bus drivers do not have a strong union membership and their wage reflects that.
  22. My mortgage is based on the US interest rates so the events in Euroland have no bearing in what I pay. Nearly all of my bills are at rock bottom prices and there's absolutely no way I can get better deals, Loz. Most of the sensible voters know this which has meant that Even the two Eds realise this now. I don't believe "the sensible voters" understands economics otherwise the Tories wouldn't be in power. Labour have always maintained that their plan involved growth and not making as much cuts as the Tories for the past few years.
  23. Of course the salaries have something to do with it. The senior staff award themselves more bonuses and pay. Yet somehow RMT causes controversy for rejecting a ?100 sum. Otta, you're really are one of life's losers and any insults you do pass is meaningless.
  24. Hardly Otta, it goes to show what a complete fool you are and getting involved in discussions on the EDF shows how much you're out of your depth. The RMT rejected a ?100 sum that's hardly holding the TfL to ransom. Yet at the same time 378 of their senior staff earns more than ?100,000 per year.

Oh, yes that Labour PM Gordon Brown. > > Honestly - do actually believe the tripe you type? Oh yeah, anything negative about the Tories is tripe. Current unemployment figures are the worse for 17 years. Business as usual for the Tories it seems.
