  1. Last question please. Is it possible to print pages from a book on a Kindle?
  2. keano77 Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Interesting article from an EU point of view More like a factual point of view. The UK Govt. wants to wriggle out of what it agreed to when they 'got Brexit done'. Possibly their plan all along. It's a shameful place to be in for a once well respected country. Now it's just run by charlatans, the worst of all being the PM.
  3. I predicted Italy to win too, but alas it counts as a draw in our game.
  4. It appears no one got last night's result right. Am I right in thinking Lady G that you forgot to make a number of predictions in Round 1? If so the table might look a lot different if you hadn't...
  5. That's what Mark Lawrenson predicts on the BBC Sport website. 0-0 with England winning the shoot out.
  6. I can't see how Hancock can ever be taken seriously again as the health minister in a pandemic. For that reason alone he really has to go. Giving a substantial PPE contract to the woman's brother is almost what we expect from this shower. If he has broken 'the law' as it was then, shouldn't he face consequences? He was quite keen for Ferguson to do so.
  7. Just checked and saw that the 'result' of matches includes extra time, if there is any. Half expecting it would be the score after 90 minutes.
  8. tiddles Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Thanks Alan medic x Hi tiddles. Hope you read the post following mine. There are exceptions to the 28 day rule apparently, which the Council could fall back on. So say a couple of well informed posters above.

Looking at appealing as this feels > just wrong for there to he such a delay in sending > out From what's written above in this thread, the council are legally obliged to issue a PCN within 28 days of the supposed offence. Otherwise it's invalid. I haven't researched this myself but I'm sure it could be easily checked.
  10. Well I appealed. Anyone say how long it takes to get a verdict?
  11. As a matter of interest has anyone written to our MP about this? Can an MP have any influence over how a Council operates?
  12. Darn! I changed my England prediction from 1-0 to 1-1 at the last minute.

That is a far more likely outcome than Ireland leaving the EU just to get into bed with a nutcase job of a regime in the UK. I suppose we should feel honoured that you think it's up to the Irish people to decide. Funnily enough those Irish people in NI voted to stay in the EU.

The protocol is to avoid there being a hard border on the island of Ireland. If that's not recognising/protecting the GFA, what is?
  16. Apologies for starting a new thread. I hadn't realised this was a hot topic already.
  17. I got one of these for 'Using a route restricted to certain vehicles (buses, cycles & taxi's only). "DULWICH VILLAGE (NORTHBOUND) TOWARDS PICKWICK ROAD". Can anyone enlighten me as to what restriction is this?
  18. Great. Thanks for all the information.
  19. Not in this case Penguin and perhaps not in others either. Wembley required football fans attending recent matches to be able to show a negative LFT result on their phones.
  20. Anyone know how/where I can do a test and obtain a printed result or a result I can print off? The printed result is a requirement to go to an event in a couple of weeks (assuming it's negative).
  21. I don't think your predicament is as bad as you think. 1161 posts over a 13 year period works out as 1.72 posts a week on average. Are you sure something else isn't to blame for this condition?
  22. Well this sorts Cummings out...

Probably the realisation that his 'hairstyle' is so as to cover up the fact he's going bald. I don't think they care that he's inept. PS No offence intended to bald people with this remark

I think yesterday he was operating with Parliamentary Privilege. "Parliamentary privilege grants certain legal immunities for Members of both Houses to allow them to perform their duties without interference from outside of the House. Parliamentary privilege includes freedom of speech and the right of both Houses to regulate their own affairs." I don't know how 'certain legal immunities' is defined. In other words, can he lie and get away with it? From what I heard most of it was believable though. Except the old Barnard Castle story. Hunt specifically quizzed him on why he thought it was okay to go with wife and kid on a test drive. Cummings thought there was nothing strange about that.
  25. Thanks for the input so far. I subscribe to an e-paper. Would I be able to download that on a Kindle?
