  1. Speaking of masks, Which have done a report of how they rate in terms of effectiveness. If you're going to wear a mask (and hopefully you do), you may as well wear a useful one. https://www.which.co.uk/reviews/face-masks/article/best-reusable-face-masks-awLeA3A6XoZD
  2. I presume having a 'medical exemption' does not make it any less possible for a person to transmit the virus. In which case it shouldn't be beyond the wit of man/woman to make alternative arrangements. I appreciate some people genuinely do not want to or can't wear a mask, but that's not going to make me feel any better if I pick up the virus for a good cause. Also, those idiots who abuse the term to avoid having to wear a mask should be asked to prove it or leave an establishment. Sorry for your troubles, bartender.
  3. Thanks for all the suggestions.
  4. I want something to allow me to do the books for a small limited company which can also produce Annual Accounts. Something that's sort of idiot proof. Any suggestions please?
  5. 7 correct results in two weeks is difficult to match.
  6. This is a couple of years old I believe, but worth watching. Irish TD (MP) speaking to Israeli ambassador. Thanks to Roger Waters of Pink Floyd for posting it.
  7. A reshuffle doesn't necessarily equate to sackings, as most of the media would like you to believe.
  8. I don't think posting at 6.06AM suits you Seph. You may have needed more zz's not 00's.
  9. Why are the government pushing companies to install these?
  10. Perhaps the people of Hartlepool aren't as thick as some portray them to be. If they didn't vote a CONservative in, what chance of getting any investment in their area from the Tories? The Tories have a habit of looking after their own. Mind you, when they fail to keep their promises, then that will be a different kettle of fish.
  11. I reckon if I can get 42ish points I'll be in with a shout!
  12. This is it: https://census.gov.uk/about-the-census/about-the-census-coverage-survey
  13. Thanks BNG. Is there any obligation to facilitate this? It seems to me enough information was supplied doing the actual census.
  14. Regarding (a), they are not NEW EU regulations. They applied to third countries prior to Brexit. The way it has been reported here by most of the media suggests the EU just made them up to spite the UK. https://www.theguardian.com/business/2021/feb/02/eu-rules-on-some-types-of-shellfish-leave-uk-fishermen-devastated

  16. Did any get a visit or a leaflet through the letterbox saying you've been chosen to be spoken to in connection with the census? If so, what's that all about please? I got a leaflet.
  17. Spam? That comes in a tin doesn't it?
  18. That was some stumble Book Learn Pass!
  19. 'The Derry City Story' is on BBCi player. It's worth a watch. Well, I enjoyed it.
  20. In my defence I was assuming that EU membership would be on the cards for Scotland should they vote for independence. It would be gas (amusing)if they got independence and then voted against joining the EU because the majority didn't want a border with England. I'm assuming that there would have to be another referendum on joining the EU, assuming an application to join would be accepted. There's a lot of assumptions in this post.
  21. There would have to be a border. It's as simple as that. The SNP won't be able to hide that fact until after a referendum. Hopefully the electorate will be better informed going in to one than people were for the EU referendum. Then it's down to what the people there want more, independence or status quo.
  22. But she didn't actually say there wouldn't be a border, did she? She spoke about putting in place 'arrangements'? Vague, I know. But if they are going to put to the Scottish people what Independence and EU membership might mean, prior to a referendum, the SNP will have to define what exactly 'arrangements' might mean.
  23. This 'new rule' for the CSL is akin to scrapping the offside law or taking a free kick to yourself. This is not the game of 'hundreds' we grew to love over the years. The 'fans' will soon get bored of it. Meanwhile, I will be reporting this thread to the VAR (Value at Risk) committee where I fully expect the rogue post to be reported to Admin for potential deletion.
  24. Tut tut maxxi. That's an own goal.
