  1. 'The Derry City Story' is on BBCi player. It's worth a watch. Well, I enjoyed it.
  2. In my defence I was assuming that EU membership would be on the cards for Scotland should they vote for independence. It would be gas (amusing)if they got independence and then voted against joining the EU because the majority didn't want a border with England. I'm assuming that there would have to be another referendum on joining the EU, assuming an application to join would be accepted. There's a lot of assumptions in this post.
  3. There would have to be a border. It's as simple as that. The SNP won't be able to hide that fact until after a referendum. Hopefully the electorate will be better informed going in to one than people were for the EU referendum. Then it's down to what the people there want more, independence or status quo.
  4. But she didn't actually say there wouldn't be a border, did she? She spoke about putting in place 'arrangements'? Vague, I know. But if they are going to put to the Scottish people what Independence and EU membership might mean, prior to a referendum, the SNP will have to define what exactly 'arrangements' might mean.
  5. This 'new rule' for the CSL is akin to scrapping the offside law or taking a free kick to yourself. This is not the game of 'hundreds' we grew to love over the years. The 'fans' will soon get bored of it. Meanwhile, I will be reporting this thread to the VAR (Value at Risk) committee where I fully expect the rogue post to be reported to Admin for potential deletion.
  6. Tut tut maxxi. That's an own goal.
  7. Good. Say something interesting on the other one then. I promise to reply.
  8. I'm boycotting this thread. There's a perfectly acceptable thread already where this topic could have been raised, which has been around a lot longer than this one. Unfortunately, I can't post there just now.....
  9. Try visiting Italy. They have loads they don't want.

Thoughts should be with her at > this time. I certainly wouldn't have 'expected' the exact same coverage on so many BBC platforms. It's bloody weird in my opinion. And it's hardly 'fair' to non Royalist citizens, never mind fee paying immigrants like me (or am I an ex-pat?). No offence to the Queen who I have a lot of respect for, but what are 'gaffes' by Phil, would be considered racist comments in some cases, by others. Meanwhile the government chooses to shut up shop while Belfast burns. Very convenient for Johnson.
  11. Okay. I'm a bit late to the party. Anyone know anywhere that still has Easter eggs for sale? Locally?
  12. Doomed I am. Doomed! Two horse race......
  13. Can anyone think of anything else that could be reshaped and sold at a higher price for less of it? Does the shape of an Easter egg give you a warm glow (or something else) that makes it worth being ripped off in buying one? Or, are we just stupid?
  14. Does the time I go for a pee count?

I suppose deciding to become an Irish citizen was his best way of showing how much his disapproved of Brexit. https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/uknews/john-le-carr-c3-a9-chronicler-of-englishness-died-irish-son-reveals/ar-BB1fcEEi?ocid=uxbndlbing
  16. Given this unusual 6 nations, it's probably appropriate that the man who doesn't make a prediction gets the Yellow Cap this week! Round 6 Congratulations to maxxi on the win. The Cowboy might just be kicking himself though! Final Table
  17. Superbru didn't allow it for the last round. I think they normally do that.
  18. All predictions made apart from Mick Mac. No peeking allowed by Superbru for final round. France v Scotland Tonight 20:00
  19. I made up a really bad joke. Why are West Ham fans superspreaders of covid? 'Cause they're forever blowing their bubbles.
  20. In fact subject to an acceptable explanation from RC, I think perhaps he should be awarded the 2 points (one being a GS point). All agree? RC, over to you?
  21. Both of you should be concerned regarding the current (behind closed doors)investigation, as to why the Cowboy failed to make the easiest prediction of the week-end? Two points lost,at least. Was he hacked? Bribed? Threatened? And by whom?
  22. Note that a 'Round 6' has been added to cover the last match. Round 5 Leaderboard
  23. I believe it was The Fox who once stated here that a benefit of Brexit was the ability to ban its importation. I 100% agree. It's the only one though.
  24. Round 5 fixtures Saturday Scotland v Italy 14.15 Ireland v England 16.45 France v Wales 20.00 The remaining Round 3 fixture is due to be played on Friday 26th. It is available on Superbru to make a prediction. Friday 26th France v Scotland 20.00
