If you're right handed but can't use your right arm/hand, what are the likely daily problems you will encounter? Anyone with experience of this?

That's what I thought miga (about being right). What question was Loz answering?

I do wonder if a manager at RM has to live up to CR's expectations. He does seem a bit self important old Ronnie. Great match between Everton & Spurs yesterday and a lot of good young English talent on display. Stones made me laugh when he had to gesture to the crowd to calm down after appearing to be in a mess in a dangerous place in the area and extracted himself with ease. Both teams are easy on the eye to watch. In won't take up your 3/1 offer Quids as I'd expect WH to exceed last years points total. If any club had a plan for a few years it's certainly them. Get promoted. Stay there. Consolidate. Move on and up. Move grounds. SA had a big part to play in all that and there are plenty of other Championship clubs with bigger histories than West Ham who would have liked to have gone that route.

Where's Brendan?

Move the decimal place a couple of places and you'll have nearly ?67k. And no, I won't change it into Euros.

West Ham: Played 20 Points 32 Same as last season after 20 games. What were you saying Quid's?

Maybe it's a sign of hope Jah, I got a teasing text from a Spurs fan when United lost there 4th game in a row. My response was it was the first time and the same number of years since Spurs won the league. Maybe it's an omen even if they were in different seasons. Same year. May 2016 be a great year and not your last folks.

I really hope that the so called smaller clubs don't sell any of their better players in the transfer window. As for nearly teams in years gone by, I think QPR was my favorite. They had Gerry Francis, Stan Bowles (I think) and Don (ROI) Givens. His brother John played for my home town club, a sort of equivalent to Dulwich Hamlet.

Great insight into the man and manager.

Building something medium/long term is hardly the remit of any prospective manager. He may buy into it but it is surely the owners who should have the strategy. With LVG and the money he spent it wasn't a long term view. The immediate plan was to get back into the CL. So there is no confusion over a plan and a contract. A large clubs foundations can't be based on what a new managers 'plan' is. If Pep G. wanted to come to United but only wanted a 3 year contract and was likely to leave after 3 years,it's hardly grounds for saying no.
-
What manager these days has a 5-10 year plan? It just doesn't happen. Their club cycle is normally a lot less. In England 1.23 years according to the LMA.
-
They've heard of Australia there?
-
It could be 0-0 today. Chelsea are pretty fragile too and won't have Costa. I still can't see LVG staying for long whatever the result. The question is who is next? Pep G can probably choose either Manchester club. City would seem the obvious one but don't yet have the status of United. I imagine his next club is already decided. If it's United they will need a caretaker. I'm sure Giggs would want it but one out of left field would be Fergie coming out of retirement for a few months as Busby once did. If PG is going elsewhere it may well be Mourinho who is available. Talk of Madrid wanting him back may have a lot to do with their internal politics from what I've heard. There's also the problem for a manager starting in the Summer as a lot of players will be returning for pre season at different times. If I were a betting man I'd bet on JM being the next United manager.

Bojan is one out of the blue Jah though with the money in the game in England now even Stoke can have players coveted by others. My original pick was David Silva but RD did point out some home truths. I'm pretty sure Ryan Shawcross actually started out at United. As for the Europa at least its a knock out competition from now on. English teams need to get their act together or soon the top 4 will become a top 3 in terms of CL qualification. Merry Christmas Otta.

If your team could have any player from another PL team for the rest of the season, who would it be? I'd pick Ryan Shawcross.

And now for something completely different. 2 and a half seasons ago Michu scored over 20 goals for Swansea in the PL. He's now just signed for a Spanish 4th division club. I think he's only 29 I believe. I'd love to know what went wrong.

He didn't lose the plot he was just angry. Quite dignified too.

I never wanted to hold a snake but was obliged to when my son left the nest and left behind Snakey. His pet from his reptillion days. I was left holding the snake as it were as Snakey needed to be looked after. My holding a snake is on a par with your fear of heights.

DHFC noise disturbance, evening match

I'm with Penguin here James. As a man in position of authority you really should have read a bit more before jumping to conclusions and saying your piece. -

A brilliant piece of investigative work? Old Wills took 3 days to find the clue which was under his nose all the time. He also dropped the parcels in the first place. The hero of the piece is the person who cleverly left something at the scene which would be recognised by Wills but took the valuable stuff into safe keeping. Still happy for you Willard. Stay lucky.

Mail not pushed fully through letterbox..
Alan Medic replied to DulwichFox's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Speaking of having ID compromised, I get a fair amount of addressed mail which I know is junk (well junk to me). I usually open it, tear off my name and address and put in in the recycling. This is a pain. Is it really necessary, as I'm sure my name and address could be found in public records if someone could be bothered?
