I thinkthis phenomena is found all over but London in particular has so many areas of varied social and economic profile crammed together that leaching from one area to another is inevitable. The boozed up middle-classes are a fright to see and this combined with visitors looking for a good (or bad) time adds to the mix. The EDF has over the past few days seen a number of posts from people reporting criminal or just bad behaviour that they or loved ones have been the victims of. The question is whether this is reflective of a surge in such behaviour or whether it is always there and just doesnt get reported. The area has a rep for being well off and so that may attract those that would wish to feed off that wealth or just have a go at the nice middle class people OR much of this might be ED feeding off itself.

Mr Onion and Miss Cat nabbed a bar side stool at the CPT and I squeezed in with them. The staff were working like furies but were still somewhat overwhelmed (more staff would have helped) and as has been noted the popular booze ran out. Had nobody told them that it would be busy?

Next Spring I shall be growing my own 3 bedroom semi. To rent out.

Polly - a small silver lining hoves into view. This could be the very thing that gets you that hairy smelly dog you wanted!! Belated congrats (on the marriage of course). I trust the honeymoon was as these things are supposed to be.

Anna - simply buy a spare liver. Works wonders. Simply change them over the morning after the night before and hang the spare one up to dry out for use the next morning.

I too live in the flats opposite - it would be nice to have a decent bar opposite, but .....

Well, if they died from the radiation their glowing bodies could be used to provide street lighting, so saving electricity.

Hate to be a misery, but having a kids forum could draw the attention of those whose aim is to groom rather than befriend. It would need some very close moderation and would still be open to abuse.

Excellent to see everbody old and new. Personally I am still reelng from Bagpuss' revelation concerning her feelings towards ginger hair :)) There was much talk (from me?) about meeting at the CPT for the rugby in that its in ED and the EDT wll be rammed full of people and Hoopers is a little off the beaten track for many. What do folks think? I'll go anywhere, given half the chance. Also up for Boothby Graffo at the Hob tomorrow. Sorry I disappeared at 1 - saw a bus come hurtling around the corner and my mind said "bed".
