Its Neros that went ahead without fuill permission, Its neros that are not taking the consulation / review priocess seriously - its Neros that is ensuring that its financial muscle is being used to slow down and hopefully exhaust the local authority process Shut them down - this isnt a hypothetical discussion , ist about a PROFIT making venture deciding not the abide by the rules regaridng their fetid premises - they are not doing it for any altruistic reason - they are taking the piss becasue of money making potential if you lose sight of the priciple here becasue you like their product , you will come to regret the results of the precedent set.
  4. the London lite is DMG anyway and we all knoe they are pocket Nazis. ( awaits formal warning )
  5. or - be brave and dont pick them up in the first place - they are shite anyway / tittle tattle / sleb gossip /advertorials /txts speak quickies / unfunny viral pictutres / all complete and utter shit. The fast food version of reading - news for grazers and mobile phone fetishists take a book or buy a paper - if you pay for a daily, it usually follows that you take ownership for it and dispose of carefully.
  6. Sainsbos isnt really endforceable, but its just goes to highlight the number of scummers around the place

  10. car covers are usually only used in the UK to hide an untaxed car sadly

  12. Soemtimes people need a little push in the direction of thinkiing in a more socially responsible manner and maybe the CPZ may do that with regard to car use
  13. tehre are several certainties in life taxes Death Bono is a wanker Foxtons are scum
  14. for many many landlords, book cookery is the only way they can come out even - given that BTL purchasers of late piad top ? for squalid little properties and assumed a decent annual capital appreciation offset any day to day shortfall in between income/ expenditure - a surrogate savings policy for many - i.e they subsidised their flat costs to reap the benefits when they come to sell. The amount of loading you could stick on ofsetting items towards tax is open to interpretation by many and renovation/ upgrading as opposed to manintainence has been offset against any tax bill - naughty I know people who ask for a summary of the insurance bill for their own home & their rental property and submit the entire figure against their rental income. The capital gains issue , whereby people move back for a month or two to restart their capital gains free allowance is an obvious way in whcioh people think they can circumvent the rules I thuink many who receive this letter may rapidly rethink their views on how much of a crime tax evasion actually is

I never park in front a a dropped kerb if theres a car on the drive but many think its fair game if its not occupied - and the police are SO disinterested its laugahble. boxing in a cr may cause problems, but it seems boxing out a car form his drive isnt a problem

I suppose you moan about kids, > buggies, Iceland, parking permits, Peckham, > Snorky.... In reality, I dont oddly enough. Oh yes, I forgot - its got a fruit machine arcade that attracts IV drugs users and itinternant types and pair of undertakers that are doing very well cos the the gang violence between the local bludz and the brockley boyz ED is in freefalll...

  20. its the one on top of the reservoir innit ? full of cabbies during the day IIRC
  21. The Snorky Propaganda machine designed to m ke ED LESS desirable to move to and reduce house prices 1) The terrible street violence 2) The proximity to that terrible peckham place and its unemployed populace 3) The drugs use - indeed, there was a call for a needle exchange lately - just shows how bad it actually is 4) The amount of betting shops - always full of footpads an ne-er do wells
  22. The shops will only come if the victims are they to keep them in business. and they are very much there. wasnt some uninspired hack bleating on about the gentrification of ED in a column in teh times a while ago ? IIRC, she did say she moved from Battersea/Fulham/Clapham or whatever faceless poohole she was in before to escape the all bar one-isation of the area ? are the two events linked ? Influx of victims from expensiver flat land to small victorian house land with their young/ not yet birthed family Influx of overpriced tat shops and Delis catering to the new influx ? erm, maybe Im being a bit ole skool marxist here, but surely "YOU" & "YOUR LOT" are the reason for the gentification & you shoulbnt blame the shops for trailing along - thats what they do , its hardly odd retail behavior It doesnt help that such slob lazy journalism seem to consgtantly reiterate what a great place ED is - mainly cos theyse all moving here and dont have an original idea to fill their columns ? maybe a move to Thamesmead opr Plumstead would have ensured you could have kept the gentrifation of your new manor at bay for a while longer ? Wait there - Snorkys got it - all you hacks out there - start to slag off ED - describe it as the Bronx of SE London and describe the drive by shootings and pools of blood on the street and the pitiful all night wailing of the blood spattered victims- that would keep the thrusting interlopers + the gentrifiers away wouldnt it ? Oh, wait there, it would also cause a fall in house prices and we vant have that can we Hmmmmmmmmmm
  23. hes the elder statesman of anarcho chaos these days and doesnt get involved in the day to day subversion and state overthrowing. recently produced his autobiog, but Ive not got round to reading it yet. Foxtons do somehow oprovoke an Ire in people that is hard to fathom or justify - sort of like hating Bono - you intrinsically hate him and logical reasoning doesnt really come into it or is even needed
  24. nah - this stuff is class war lite - not as good as it was in the old days when Bone was at the helm and produced some memorable newspaper headlines - but its still good for a bit of a chuckle. ish.
  25. Its a decent book for a bit of idle flicking sadly, we dont have much banksy in SE London - tho' there were a couple in Brixtonia a couple of years ago, now gone I think hes scared of ED cos its so "vibrant" and "buzzing"
