"17/02: Taking Action Against Estate Agents Category: Events 88 Posted by: Admin Monday March 3rd at 3pm sees Class War's picket of Foxtons in Islington, in a demonstration against the greatest con-men of our time - estate agents. There is however a lot that can be done before then (and afterwards!) - and not just towards Foxtons. Many estate agents routinely break the law by placing advertising signs without permission on council property, and sometimes on private property. The pictures below, from Chester Road in Stretford, Greater Manchester, illustrate the arrogance of these bastards. One very simple way to fight back against the damage estate agents are doing to our communities is simply to take these signs down where ever you find them. Don't let them advertise - illegally - over-priced properties in your community. Don't let them damage the environment with their crappy cardboard and plywood signs. Lets take these signs down, and return them to the estate agents concerned - the bigger this campaign gets, the better it gets for us, and the worse it gets for the likes of Foxtons. Lets get busy! "

this is an exploitative, untested nd fraudulent product- it preys the most most insecure and vunerable - you hype this stuff on a public forum then expect a backlash - I am unconcerned as to whether the poster is upset or not - its snake oil territory and the only reason it has been posted to to make money.

Why ? the Dulwich estate, thats why. -
The problem is that the people who use the PO most are invariably at the bottom of the pile economically and likely have less of a voice. I dont really used the PO apart from sending stuff I send out to paying victims, but many many people have no choice - the money that they live on goes tho' the PO. You also cant estimate the non monetary value of somewhere like a PO in terms of a loose social network for people on ther margins - although this is more important in isolated areas as you say.

pointless goading comment removed, as it will just provoke a world of bleating

Mrs Snorky says it is a "gift" shop. Form what I remember, this seems about right. I dont think I will be spending my not so hard earned cash in there. Indeed, I dont think I will be spending it at all.

lets not derail the thread. if you are that insecure about you nationality, then I suggest you begin a rambling thread in teh Lounge

Its sick isnt it? But most of the UK are guilty of aiding & abetting this disgusting move by association - how many piled in and bought the various utilities shares when the were flogged off all those years ago ? Why should a post office be deemed to have to turn a profit ? its a service surely? These mooted closures are the son of that selfish and grotesque era.

Best car insurance tip ? Either dunmp the car and remove the cost entirely or downsize to a car that is a practical proposition for getting about, as opposed to a statement of how well you are doing / sophisticated you are how much of a big hit you are with the girlz oh, and ratchet up your voluntary excess on the new policy

Its proximity to the "Vibrant" LL doesnt help the residents want the best of all worlds - close to the action, but far enough away for it to be quiet - this means keepinfg all the other victims who want a piece of the action as far as away as possible ASh has been subject to a rash of dropped kerbs, as the new arrivals try to fence off as much of the street as they can to protect their precious ?800/900/1000 K properties Unsurprising that local "characters" sometiems show their frustration on vehicles Still, they will soon be selling up and moving off to Sevenoaks as they always do ( " the grammar schools are very good" etc ) -
The Maudsley deal with a wide range inclding eating disorders and suchlike. LOndon is full of people who may not conform to what is considered the norm, but very few anything but an annoyance The most dangerous have probabaly never hadd a days treatment in their lives

Quite often, the owners are the least approachable section of society and invariably their houndz will be of a breed that isnt famed for its playful nature - esp. with kids if you get my drift.Dogs are a fashion statement to many. I see certain owners in the area letting their dogs off the leash in the fenced off basketball / 5 a side courts for a shit - presumably cos the poor feckin hound is liable to escape if its out in the open/attack people or dogs or the owners is just too stupid / lazy to actually take it out for a proper walk but shitting in fenced off courts is possibly the lowest I have witnessed Scum.

any evidene that hes done anything bad or touched anyone ( apart from his brusque attitude of course ) ? I know the bloke you mean - hes never approached me or seemed threatening - I think the bus stop is his "manor" Just dont want him to be demonised if hes harmless...the skaghead couple who haunt the lane are not averse to producing a knife if threatened ( never saw them use it )
