Religion in al its brands , as anyone with an ounce of sense knows , its a load of ole cobblers howevr its dressed up - and dont bother responding to my statement of fact with some tired old philisophical argument you stole from wikipedia that argues God exists - BUT the moral standpoint of the CoE & I daresay other brands of god - if you strip away the mumbo jumbo, actully makes some sense as a basic guide on how to respect people and live your life - that in itself is no bad thing.. Gladhanding the vicar to get your face known for the application is detestable and cheap though. What vile people sneaky we must have in the area who lie through their teeth to obtain this advantage for their kids

Speak to the Estate agents in Question and raise it with the SLP or local publications - someone who doesntn have an agenda or a revenue stream with these odious scum ( my opinion ) The last thing these parasites want is adverse publicity. unfort. if they move from outside your house, they will just go elsewhere. double edged sword- many want to bask in the warm cosy glow of positiy equity in their property, but cant accept that one of the side effects of this leap in value will be more Estate agents coming to tap the market Ditto many want lovely expensive boutique shops in their environ, yet bleat when the chains begin to move in, seeing as rents have been raised by the presence of such little twee shopettes fiorcing out the shops that run on a small margin Chicken / egg I think

I dont know - but surely" posh totty" is all relative - if you are a plumstead scummer, then anyone without tats on their face is "posh totty"
-
bad cars. cheap suits, nasty square toed shoes.
-
the presence of "posh totty" getting leathered in the LL pubs does encourage these rascals to try their luck on Das Lane

Nice bit of free advertising and publicity for your new money making location - please dont patronise us by wanting to be part of the community - yoyu caare littel for the "community" - you are there for the money - thats it - at least be hionest when you open your mouth/post on a site.

Television research into parking problems
snorky replied to TV Researcher's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Unfair tickets ? Apart from the small % that are overturned due to some legal technicality ( wrong date/ wrong registration etc ), most tix are legal. This isnt a grey area - you are either in the right or in the wrong - if you get a ticket and its not overturned, then you are in the wrong - its not dificult is it ? If you are not capable of assimilating the information required to operate a car on the road and observe published rules and associated displayed parking regulations, then you should not be driving So what if wardens buzz around and "sneakily" stick a ticket on your car ? the fact is, if you hadnt parked there, you would not have been ticketed - even if it was on "for a minute" Dropepd kerbs - if you are ignorant enough to block a dropped kerb, then you get what you deserve. I write this as a 2 car household, one of which is a biggie - We sometimes get tickets by mistake, but accept it as adults - I did dispute the Lidl bollocks I admit, but that was a matter of principle, not economics. -

Peckham vs ED vs Beckhenham (swimming pools)

Woolwioch is a good option and funnily enought, far fewer mouthy arsey chavs than beckenham, despite the relative poverty of Woolwoch - its a bit run down, but good for the kids & a cheap caf upstairs Peckham is teh biz at the minute ED is on its last legs pool wise, so the womens are welcome to it on a thursday - when its gets jazzed up, it kick up a fuss about the ladies swim side of things -

What a fascinating map! Interestingly, the whole oglander environs - obviously not yet biult on - shows no/little sign of use - pasture / meadow maybe ? Not does it showe any watercourses - then agaion, the map doesnt seem to show many anyway I think the fact that theres nothing on the land to the Souteast of DKH and North of GG itself may suggest something or does it ?
