  1. Surely not Harriet Harman again?
  2. As a cool metropolitan I normally refrain from this thread on grounds of his horrendous provincial tone...however, I saw James Nesbitt at Heston Services on saturday which struck me as ironic

  7. Member of Parliament interview... Have you any work experience outside of the backstabbing, political struggle that is becoming an MP? Answer no Have you any intention of putting yourself and your family through the services that you think everyone else should use? No Are you willing to put your expenses and other financial interests to scrutiny in the way that any other employee would have to do? NO Have you any intention of answering any question in a straightforward way? NO Will you accept any blame fot what goes wrong in the way that you willingly accept credit for what goes right? NO Excellent, let's have you running the country
  8. An ex-of mine worked with someone who knew her well...."vacuouus"...apparently, and I ain't seen much to contradict that. Incapable of having an opinion without reference to an 'opinion' manual, professional politician, way out of her depth......sounds a bit like Gordon Brown really......

  13. I dunno for sure but most Labour MPS don't - Live anywhere near their 'working class' constituents - send their kids to any even vaguely dodgy schools inner city schools I ain't a big fan of the tories but at least they don't try and impose 'equality' on everyone else except themselves and their families.....'socialists' in huge hypocracy shocker...vermin, to turn Bevin's description of the Tories back on New Labour
  14. Reading the Guardian obvioulsy would Sean...me, well I sit at the back with my feet up on the seats infront with My Ipod on at full volume reading the Currant bun
  15. Cheaper and worse version of TGI Fridays....at least it was when I last visited in 1994
  16. Personally, I'd recommend Tate Modern, always crowded, kids love running about in the Turbine Hall (pity the slides have gone), the shop's got good arty kids stuff but best of all they, rightly, come up with loud classics like "But that's just a pile of bricks"....."so if we put our cupboard in here mum would people look at that" etc...... PS Also works well with grandparents
  17. you're a long time dead ratty, I'd rather waste a few mins on the bus that hasten my appointment with the Scythed one
  18. Try applying that to Nye Bevin, Oscar Wilde, Wisnton Churchill, That Norweigan commentator or..mohammed Al Fayed....er, well maybe not him but you get my gist
  19. To be honest, I'd rather she was being slagged off for being a useless, vacouus, self seeking, 'professional' politician *pukes, than a someone whose scared (or maybe not) of meeting the general public in her own constituency..either way, the fact that she has any influence on mine and my families life is deeply depressing... ANARCHY
