  1. Shoshntosh, whilst admiring your interest in journalism, I think that a journalist, above all things, requires an inquiring mind rather than posting a request for every single bit of information that they are looking for on an internet foru
  2. How qauint Rosie to believe that the good people of East Dulwich alone keep LL expensive trinket and high value add foodypalaces afloat

Seriouslt Attila are you really in your 40s? Your rants about Ferguson and 'Manure'and not giving an exciting Man U team any credit are out off the infants playground
  5. Great - I can't wait for even more parking restrictions in East Dulwich. Draconianally enforced by incentisvised attendants for the council to raise revenue to spend on whatever crap they have in mind for this year,,,,,NOTHING to do with helping local traders, residents or traffic. Just money for them to waste.
  6. Er, all that matters is your contract of employment under working hours and holiday entitlement, what they said on a website etc, in meeting, in the cafe etc is legally irrelevant
  7. Yeah, he just wants a well hidden side entry so noone sees him go in
  8. Sean, we may differ in our views on how to get there, but I suspect we're pretty similar on the sort of place we'd like to be at

for 'bif' read 'big' for '*snigges' read 'Sniggers'.....my point is that I am still not that surprised that Arsenal is a popular choice of team in SE22......genuinely no ribbing on your credentials Attila, they do look impeccable
  11. I would suggest eating in your own hosue or a monestry or similar rther than a public eatery where people are allowed to talk and laugh. HTH
  12. lozzy - I got a fantatstic King Tubby CD of that CD stall on Northcross Road, he has some excellent dub etc
  13. A perfectly responsible gambling establishment replaced by a decadent 'wine bar', I'm disgusted, is there a petition on this anyone?

Why am I not surprised East Dulwich is teeming with Arsenal supporters.....
  19. I have found my missing for ages Funkadelic CD in the attic and loaded onto my desktop and Ipod which was immensley satisfying. I have beeen on Betfair and looked at my P&L for Cheltenham which was less so...Manu u to score more than 4 against Derby will help claw something back....

  21. I wish people would remeber it's their home not a bleeding 'share',it's for shelter and enjoyment! I'm glad I've no Buy to let stuff left now just a mortgage, nice house and my family...I don't care too much about the 'value' of my house.....I can't 'do' much with that value unless I'm moving to lse of Skye anyway
  22. Sean...you bleedin' treehugger, pull yourself together
  23. Brendan I did have a very pleasant irish neighbour when I lived in another SE22 road but he was prone to occasional coming home at 3.30 am absolutely paralytic and putting on those awful irish folk songs at full volume...was that you?
  24. I loathe stPatrick's day.....at leat those awful Oirish pubs keep the vast majority of the plastic shamrok brigade out of the decent pubs, although, sadly, The Hermits Cave always sullies itself with some sort of 'do' or 'hooley' in the correct vernacular I believe
