Well I use Betfair a lot and you can 'lay' on there so effectively become a bookie - but I haven't the balls or the bankroll to do it professionally! I made ?100 last year....hardly gonna pay the rent is it!!! but I enjoy it immensley and im also in the 5% of Betfair customers who actually make a profit! - for what's its worth I put my money on Kauto Star for the Gold Cup a fair time ago and got better than the just above 'evens' generally available now. The old stadium was impressive - the first time I saw it in the mid-80s it completley perplexed me I was thinking whose ground is that? can't be Millwall's, surely Palace is further away etc...it was a proper football ground....now it's the 'fresh fish' counter and lego shoe box
