  4. ????

    Cheltenham.....

LTP - not neccesarily a bad ploy as most other odds have pushed well out, however, I think one of these two would win this race 19/20 so you need 20-1 plus for value and most of the othere 'resonable' hopes are around 12s....Knowhere as an EW bet might be a better punt.
  5. Yup, I watch my back, don't open my door to anyone carry a stanley and spend more time in the bookies
  6. ????

    Cheltenham.....

I had Master Minded yesterday so have ridden into profit with Kauto Star leading my hopes for it being a truly excellent week. Just trying to work out how to leave work and go to the pub at 3.30 for what should be a fantastic race....Mark, I did a bit better than that on the exchanges after KS went out follwing the injury scare so got 3s...
  7. V1s were Doodle bugs V2 weren't
  8. Whilst we sympathise and are very much on your side - unlike tories/many in the w/c and people who live in Kensington - we don't really want you living next door, be a good girl and move to SE15, with our full liberal support and best wishes obviously
  9. I was the grand total of ?1 down after day one of Cheltenham
  10. A very good point....and the C of E only gave us "Father Dear Father" with derek nimmo. I'm off to confession imminently...
  11. As someone who thinks religion is a load of old shite - I can at least admire (with some horror) the self-proclaimed moral certainty of Islam, Judaism and increasingly Catholicism. Meanwhile the kind of touchy feely "we want to be democratic and secular and touchy feely ....oh but there is a god, he's a bit like Tony Blair" (ie doesn't believe in anything doesn't argue about anything won't take a stance on anything) shite of the Church of England is pathetic - no wonder their particular flock is deserting in droves. Doesn't mean that the catholic church isn't a disgraceful sham full of perverts tho...
  12. did they get any footprints?
  13. crumbs...you're romantic
  14. I have Virgin Interet and it's utter shite, which suggest their boxythingy is miles from SE22
  15. Very good article by Tim Lott on the betrayal of the white working class by the liberal middle class in the Independent on Sunday today
  16. which part of "i've never voted tory" didn't you understand....stop thinking in stereotypes...you really are like Rick in The Young Ones aren't you?
  17. well said MP - I can't believe people haven't grown out of it (it's like 45 years olds going raving)
  18. At last a final without 'the big 4' and their legions of noveaux plastic fans. I'm actually gonna watch the final on TV this year...tho of course 2 years ago I was at Cardiff ; (
  19. Are you a geography lecturer at a Poly Attila...you certainly sound like one.
  20. ha ha...straight out of the Morning Star... ...it would probably amaze you to know that I've never voted conservative in my life but am capable about looking back and being analytical about this than, as I think Bob said earlier, sounding like a parody of Rick from the Young Ones.. fuck me, realpoitik is full off hypocracy and doubledealing but if you think that it was 'right' to leave the Falklands in the hands of a Dictstorship who had illegally invaded it then I guess it shows how strong your hatred of 'her' is...and you call me angry???
  21. A Level Sociology Student politics The unions used force and intimidation throughout the 1970s to continually bring the democratically elected governments of this country to their knees, the miners didn't even ballot their members for strike action in 1984, it was mass intimidation.. A fascist dicatorship invaded a country fully recognised by the UN and imposed its junta against the will of its poeple and Thatcher(sic) was brave enough to not accept this and ... sorry the'plebs' in the 1980s didn't vote the way you'd liked....presumably that was The Sun's fault or something
  22. I went to Calvi(?) and Anjuna in 1991 or 92...it was full of Full Moon parties and ravers who are probably now city bankers
  23. Don't forget a handle and a letter box...thank me later
