  1. it's just that the only BBC mono-basher was called AllForNun and disappeared right around the time you showed up..
  2. the main BBC news website has multiple links to aspects of the story including 8 people dying in 24 hrs What is your problem? http://news.bbc.co.uk/
  3. Whynniard... do the words Nun For and All mean anything to you?
  4. an obvious suggestion is the "new" one where Coriander used to be..
  5. In the guardian today, the photographer Richard Chambury had the following photo published but what me chuckle was the description where he said the two ladies look like rap stars on an album cover - and every time I look it it I just think how true that is
  6. RosieH - you are far from the first person to think CC was female - I did myself back in the day But his ability to throw out a beard at will is rivalled only by Mockney..
  7. I generally find no problem with black cabs - but it has happened once or twice where they are blatant. Of course thanks to Ken they aren't allowed to say no, so I usually make a point of having a camera ready and point it at their driver info It doesn't result in me getting that cab, but it makes that driver very nervous for a while after I'd wager
  8. far better use of time! BTW, was the treble-post a knowing wink to Tony's modus-operendi?
  9. Easy Don Quixote, most people on here seem to be on your side - many people have reported this thread and those posting on here are here to say it shouldn't be on here
  10. Must pay this a visit - it's not the same now I no longer live on Friern Rd and pass it on my way to the lane.. I have to GO there But Crystal Palace Rd could be the new strip, what with this and the relaunched Castle Has the Uplands maintained it's recent good run since the last manager took over? Spot on about the prices as well keef
  11. ... the coronation of King Keef Less than a couple of dozen posts away from the 10,000 posts mark, it is surely an achievement worthy of a raised glass?
  12. The outburst on the Immigration thread made me chuckle - partly because of who did it and how out of character it seems (from what I know of them) but mostly because of the time of the posting and knowing what fuelled it But this thread was a step too far IMO and it has been good to see pretty much everyone in agreement with each other on this one
  13. And that post made me chuckle tillie!
  14. Sounds like a sensible concensus to me huzzah
  15. Report it Kel - Admin has already read it but best bet is always to report stuff using the button
  16. Before you jump to the liberal-lite consensus accusations quids, it's worth bearing in mind only 2 people have suggested/agreed to it, and Admin isn't taking any steps in that direction that I can see But yeah, I'm not sure any thread saying X or Y should be banned should exist - so let's click on the "report this message" button then
  17. Normally agreed MM - but with our Tone, that really hasn't worked has it?
  18. From BBC news
  19. 1) Unlike admission rates at hospitals or crimes, there are no officially recorded figures around satisfaction with tradesmen of different nationalities - it's a crazy world I know. SO to ANSWER your QUESTION - those figures will never be available Tony - you'll just have to take people's word on it, but that's not their fault. Please don't repeat the question or say that people won't give you an answer. In fact, whatever you are about to say... don't 2) Evidence = how much money is left in your wallet at the end of a job. Or how much difference was between the quote and the final bill. Or how much mopping up one has to do afterwards. The Poles (as an example) have no great racial advantage to the job in hand but they were a bit more eager to get the work - ergo the quote was cheaper and the job got done. This may now have changed as economics and numbers have moved on....
  20. But if this was true, would I not be able to ring up pa british tradesman and have him around toute suite? Instead I still get told, by pretty much everyone I ring, that they are booked up and can't come around until a week Tuesday (or whatever)
  21. for youtubage, Downloadhelper both captures and converts most legal streaming sites to several video formats (assuming you use firefox for browsing, and sure why wouldn't you?) BN5 - if you opt for Handbrake link above you won't be anywhere near any viral sites - are you worried about the software itself or when you decide to start downloading videos?
  22. Could be just you... They always say hello to me
  23. this bit? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pXFIwnV3y0k&feature=related You might mean a different one but still good But I wouldn't want this to be a politicians v media debate. Politics is one thing and people have been absolutely vehement in there hatred of them The media doing something like this seems to warrant a shrug - and they are arguably far more powerful
  24. I remember this place when CrystalClear were a woman... afore she grew that beard BTW the chili now features extra chipotles... you still havin' some?
