  1. Harry s post. . . Genius. We need more of you harry! Confession. I gave h b f the benefit of the doubt originally. But the follow up showed true form. I.e. There is an established blah blah blah
  2. Ted max and *bob*. Never met either and they are the wrong gender for me.. . But check out the hot brains on them More seriously. . I have trouble keeping in check the people i have met and fancy. . To add people i have not met ?? Yikes
  3. Really? I just clicked on it and it were fine. Aced. . It is possible to post local graphics on here one at a time. Im on a phone tho so really cant type out the instructions. Maybe someone else will be able to help out
  4. I don't suppose these... jokes could have gone in the existing joke thread instead hmmm?
  5. How long ago would that be? Even I know what James Murdoch looks like and I'd bet a pretty penny Amanda Platell would...
  6. I made theis mistake about 9:30 - 2 intellectually-stunted guys talking about someone as "over the top" and "unbalanced" as Paul Krugman from the NY Times getting a Nobel prize was crazy - they kept saying Krugman was "anti-Bush" as if that just shouldn't be allowed and was certainly a bar to any honours The whole debate reminded me of SOMETHING.. if only I could remember what...
  7. football games generally I admire rather than play ratty. I've downloaded teh PES and FIFA demos but I wouldn't pay for the full game Anyone interested in comparing high scores for Wii Fit - that ski jump is a bugger in't it?

  9. CWALD - I reckon you doth protest too much. I don't want to re-awaken old threads.. but you fancying white guys isn't AS rare as you would have us believe I reckon
  10. modified for accuracy - some of us like ye ;-) Oh - and I'm not confinced the OP is a troll - depite a vague question and an unpleasant remark on another thread he is new to the area and forum and is finding his feet I reckon. And he likes curry
  11. Volume needs to be turned up on this one as it's overly quiet but a (then) unusual acoustic version of Ghosts Ghosts - David Sylvian/Japan
  12. not sure what your point is Steve? Moos: Racist and anti-Islamic are one thing - inciting murder another surely? How much kudos to be had amongst wavering Democrat voters by saying "Inciting murder is un-American* and has no place amongst my supporters"? *because saying something is American or un-American means something apparently
  13. What I don't get is.... what's the point of the question?
  14. But is this true? is it? I know demand outsrips supply in certain demographics but I'm pretty sure (as in vague recollection of article) there are swathes of (sepecially new-build) flats empty? But to let landlords hanging on to them rather than letting them to retain value etc etc And people saying the housing market will bounce back as A Good Thing rather suggests the lessons of the current situation haven't really been learned either
  15. for the Mess O Potamia banner alone, I will always love the Daily Show. At least it's open in it's p***-taking. Who is hosting the election party in ED btw?
  16. I can genuinely say that I encounter a genuinely smelly person once every six months... maybe Of couse taht could mean that I could be the smelly person.... :(
  17. Oh for sure - but in the world of American media, that is one drop in the ocean up against the might of Fox news and their "fair and balanced" reporting Not that I can stop watching it in recent weeks mind you.... John Smith
  18. I take you feel it is mis-representative and un-fair then Moos? What about all of the other reports coming out of recent rallies where mention of Obama (often with his middle name Hussein insterted) let to large shouts from the crowd of "Traitor", "kill Him" etc and neither Palin and McCain looked shocked nor told the crowd off in any way? Am I missing something? I'm not making any huge claims for Obama, but I have yet to see anything which corresponds with this kind of ugly behaviour
  19. Walworth Rd in the morning is fine - lot's of space. But on the way back after work the streets are much busier and, frankly a pain.
  20. Ah but first we must consider what "class" means.... ;-)
  21. if you go cracking jokes young man, how do you expect to get up to the full Brendan-Strength-Monday-Morning-Rage like it tho..
  22. I think you are confusing your idea of stocks with the kind that appeared in DC Thomson comics Steve T A lot more than rotten tomatoes were thrown at people. In fact not everything got thrown.. In fact.... Actually best just forget the whole idea of stocks as pretty barbaric (much like a lot of society at that point in time)
  23. Looking back at the start of this thread I'm almost bathed in the warm glow of nostalgia
  24. I was merely being smutty TT...
  25. Do you mean Forest Hill Rd co-op tibby - in which case you might want to continue the debate there in an in existing thread? Are you saying that this is happening on more than one occasion? Or was it a one-off?
