  1. JJF 25th June according to here Perhaps after my feeble effort at the Barry Barry Run I should aim to train up for this
  2. yep July - start at the beginning of July and finish up in the Bishop around 31st You mean people plan to do this in one day?????
  3. As for Franki - I knew she was doomed the moment I saw her at the drinks. I think she needs to print out This thread And have a good long hard look at herself before she decides if this is what she wants to do ;-) VeryBerryCherry - we only met briefly at the very end of the evening where I may have had more than my 2 pint allowance. So erase that meeting from your memory (I think you were talking to Mockney Piers at that point)
  4. I certainly know who MrBen should look like on the "mirror" thread
  5. Y'see PGC - intelligent wordplay. I like it.
  6. Reasons this place isn't BB (and all the better for it) 1) No cash prize 2) No "fame". For 15 seconds. And even that is of the Heat variety. * shudders * 3) No producers messing with our heads 4) No general script behind the scenes with a vague direction of how things will turn out 5) Intelligent conversation happens on here. Sometimes 6) No. F***ing. Davina. McCall
  7. near-flawless route keef (tu) well done Bren for sorting
  8. The Word Game thread or The Song one either
  9. ha! By the way, have I asked any of you to do a test on Tottenham Court Rd?
  10. I'm not a big phoner-inner but I did attend BBC London studios as the guest listener slot on the Jo Good/Baylen Leonard breakfast show - ws in there for about 2 hours and thoroughly enjoyed it
  11. work is blocking that link so I'll take your word for it Keef!
  12. Somebody at work mentioned the fact that they have done the real Monopoly circuit Which got me thinking....
  13. As your name would suggest HonaloochieB
  14. zoiks thanks Keef ( I have started to put things in a diary but I haven't yet developed the habit of, you know... checking the darn thing)
  15. An committee person's work is never done is it georgia? Thanks for organising last Friday btw I'm thinking 11th July is better for me but probably ok with 4th if that's better for the majority
  16. Who I look like: Increasingly, a potato farmer from Co Mayo. Although Dave from the Drum is rather fond of calling me Philip Schofield every time we pass Who I'd like to look like: Depending on mood Paul Newman/David Bowie/Gabriel Byrne
  17. And black hair... oh no, wait.....
  18. Like the original - like this... love the darkness in the father's revelation... "She's been dead since 1929..." Pictures of Lily (The Who) - Bowie
  19. I forgot about Kaff'n'Eddie. Agree about the gear change after Baker - but in truth - actual truth - his afternoon slot is a shadow of the morning show he had Paul Ross and Rivron - hmmm - neither work as well as Baylen but at least Ross sometimes is able to add some factual ballast to some of Good's moments of randomness But mention of Jono - dear God has anyone ever been more inept and embarrassing as a presenter. I might loathe Gaunt but at least he knows how to do what he does. Jono made me die a little every day
  20. you might well be right ???? - and you wouldn't be alone in thinking it But the underlying reason WHY he won't get in should surely be challenged at every opportunity? (which doesn't make him perfect, or all of his beliefs right - just that as noone is perfect he should have as much chance)
  21. ah hiiiiim - I think the URL www.bringmclarenback.co.uk is still available
  22. and a fine sunny day it is/was too. If you can't progress your problem any further best get out and enjoy the day. Should be a group of forumites meeting in ED at 7:30 for the comedy uptairs - always welcome there I've had my car pranged like that before and the feeling of humanity going down the pan can overwhelm. And even fixing the car just feels so.... mundane
  23. Lynam.. lost the plot when he realised people thought he was good and appeared on TFI Vanessa... well, she isn't Jon Gaunt Candyman... Genius Tessa Dunlop... needs higher profile. I might have a slight crush on her... Joanne Good... mentalist but I perversely enjoy her shows {changing channels now - to 6 music) Natasha on weekend mornings... bliss
  24. Simon ouch! that sounds like a bad day at the office - I can't help with the problem but best of luck getting things back on an even keel
