Quorn road doesn't get anywhere near as parked up as Melbourne Grove and the roads around it. Maybe people don't like parking there because of the estate (even though it's absolutely fine).
I would rather The Police or Blondie had never reformed. And that "Beatles" single Free As A Bird could also be seen as an ill-advised reunion of sorts. Not a UB40 fan at all, but surely it's silly to carry on after losing a singer with such a recognisable voice. I thought The Spice Girls already did a reunion show a couple of years ago? Guns n Roses and Van Halen were always a bit of a circus anyway...
I think it's only a no-contest if the injury resulted from a foul - so the question is, did Dawson foul Hopkins? From what I've seen and read, Hopkins basically jumped on Dawson before the incident, so hard to blame it on Dawson.

I totally agree with that, but I don't think the analogy with human suffering is valid.
He WAS a great boxer. He needs to retire - along with Jones Jr and Holyfield. I'd go for a UD to Lebedev. But I do hope Toney gives a good account of himself.

Toney in his best shape for a decade? Wouldn't be difficult! http://serdafied.files.wordpress.com/2010/03/james-toney19.jpg And that whole MMA farce... he didn't take that at all seriously either. Sad to see how far he's fallen. Hopefully getting down to cruiswerweight will do him some good - and he'll lay of the pies, and actually train properly.
I'm sure the council keep a close eye on the mix of businesses, but that doesn't mean that it's out of the question. Many restaurants, cafes, bars, etc along LL were previously shops. Cafe Nero, Boho Bar, Chandelier... lots!

Macs... I own one, but only really use it for music. For day-to-day use I much prefer Windows. And of course, PCs are half the price for equivalent spec.
