  1. Were they like these, and if so, do you know how they got past them? http://www.abbeylocks.co.uk/images/sash_window_lock.jpg

But the actions since 9/11 may well have fuelled anti-American/Western feelings enough to provoke further attacks in the future.

    PC or MAC?

I own both, the Mac OS is without doubt the more stable platform (although it is still far from bulletproof). But Macs cost literally twice as much as an equivalent PC. And any platform is only as good as the software available, so think long and hard about what you want to run on it. If you just want it for very standard functionality (web, email, office apps), and are lucky enough not to have to worry about money, then the Mac is the way to go.
  4. What's the problem? Is it more difficult to swim in shallower water?

    Clarkson

Clarkson - like the other 2 guys on Top Gear - plays a character. What you see on TV is an exaggerated, overtly un-PC, pantomime villian character. If you take a word he says seriously, you are a fool! Of course almost everything he says is complete nonsense and designed to antagonise, but he does it with effortless comic timing and a biting sense of sarcasm. The cries of outrage from the EDF are every bit as predictable as his schoolboy-ish praise for the latest gaudy Ferrari or Lamborghini.

  7. Yeah, they do cheap booze.... but so do Samuel Smiths, and I'd rather have one of those!

  9. I believe he has just announced a heavyweight title fight against Albrighton Harrison.
  10. Often seen rats there. Never 30 of them at once, though!
  11. I think we must be talking about a different Fox On The Hill. The one in Denmark Hill has zero atmosphere and disgusting food!!
  12. I've no idea what Samuel Peter has done to warrant another shot at Wlad.
  13. I've seen them in China too.
  14. Good story, candj. Let's be honest... I think most women would make a similar trade-up given the option.
  15. Nope...

Eh??? I thought that was the entire point > (?) Was that me? I used a near identical line once. There was supposed to be a "but..." near the end, but I stopped short.
  17. Time to resurrect this one, because it's the big one... the fight we've all been waiting for... NOT. Haye vs Harrison officially announced : http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/boxing/8968472.stm
  18. There are a couple of cool things in there, but the stuffed creatures, butterflies, etc didn't really do it for me.
  19. It's a good excuse to be late into work too. Stay in bed an extra 30 mins, and blame the crowded bus/train/pavement.
  20. The new building is the White Gothic House. There seems to be doubts over it's legality. Plenty of discussion over on one the other threads: http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?5,410066

  22. I can't think of many deep fried desserts...
  23. I was a "scout" for a brief period, and don't recall any religious pre-requisites!

  25. Sounds a bit fucked up to try and push a political agenda on kids in that way...
