  1. Ouch. That clip was profoundly depressing and mostly unarguable.

    Holidays

Carthago delenda est. And it bloody well was, judging by your photo, CC. It looks beautiful in a rather sad way - have a wonderful time *she said wistfully*
  3. And you, Hona, put the purrrrrrrrrrr into Word. Night night!
  4. *coughs*
  5. Extra points for including a person who looks like a mop.
  6. No picture, no fair. My rule, I've just implemented it.
  7. MPs should sit more reasonable and normal hours. The House sitting far into the night is entirely the norm. People can't do good work and make sensible decisions with those sorts of hours. However, they don't need absurdly long holidays.
  8. The Cowell.
  9. I wish everyone would stop talking about my charms. PGC, I blame you.
  10. Wee Quinnie, don't marry Sebastian. Your, erm, marital relations may prove less than satisfactory. The teddy is not strictly my teddy, but I feel that yes he is very pretty. His name is rather prosaic however, it's Putter.

What an extraordinarily good observation. I salute you.

  13. You and BBW should go into business, *Bob*

Oh yeah, Helga Schmurgerburger - sheesh. "Sorry for the over-share" sez nerdy chubby mortician guy Helga purses lips, tries to look saucy "Thanks for the overshare" Nauseating wink. ARGH!

Who watched last night? I thought it was a bit dull, although Lawrence Fishburne (sp?) continues to be impressive. Eeeeee for a face-ful of hot fat though.
  16. *makes mental note to stay away from Italy this summer to avoid being disembowelled by suave Englishmen*
  17. Soz. I think it would be less 'our man in Havana' and more Hannibal Lecter.
  18. No.
  19. You have an elliptical head? ::o Or was your hair more than usually lairy that day?
  20. *Bob* - yes, but only distopic and not dat. Brenda - mine's an ordinary round sieve, have you been buying from Cookwonk again? Elliptical indeed.
  21. Now that ballet flats are out again, sadly I think we're doomed. I think the silver shoe says Boo! to naff.
  22. Brendan, you started it yourself on lords of the lane 2 days ago.. are the threads all blending into one dystopic thread?

I do think the house makes a bit too much use of caf?-au-lait / pebble / biscuit / magnolia / sand / stone / beige / dodo / cornsilk / wheatfield / stinky sock or whatever very pale brown is called these days.

Am I allow to fillip your response, or whatever the techie word is for splitting up someone's post into bits and replying one by one? Otherwise, I shall get very confuzzed. Yes, I have seen the high-waisted jeans, and I was deliberately ignoring them, because they are vile. Thing is, I was hoping that they would pair up with the previously-ubiquitous low-waisted jeans and give birth to jeans that sit at the natural waist and behave themselves properly. But so far so no good. I'm relying on Serfontaines at the moment, but it's a very expensive habit. > Also, bodies are back - up and down the land you > can hear the the popping of press studs as > crotches burst free at inappropriate moments... No! Say it's not so. Oh dear, brings back unfortunate memories of hopping around a lavatory cubicle half-cut trying to cope with doing up a body... oh no oh no. > There's only one thing for it - jumpsuits - > they've been around a while, but they're going > nowhere yet. 25. What Jeremy said. This has got out of hand.
