  1. High-waisted trousers are back in, according to the fashion rags. Doesn't seem to apply to jeans yet though, and as someone with a long body I'm suffering!
  2. Blimey, check out the Moos Forecast! By the way, Saturday's lotto numbers will be... actually, hang you all, I'm off to win millions. I'll be rich! Rich! Mwah ha haahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
  3. Mikecg, if you get scared at forum drinks I will protect you. I am well scrappy. But you might want to watch what you say in PMs.. you never know when they may cease to be private ;-)
  4. And the moos said my ear ringeth fruitfully, do not allow thine efforts to be derided by the naysayers and those that would cast others down but lift up your hands in joyfulness and give it large even unto the street because thy post giveth much merriment.
  5. Take it as a compliment, HonaB.
  6. Hamlet, dear Jeremy, hamlet.
  7. Mick Mac, this is pedantry of the highest order so I apologise - but isn't it a hippo? (or did you MEAN a river horse....) More importantly, they is rubbish, innit. It would be so nice if the Council would replace them with ones that move.
  8. Why another thread on this house?
  9. Hmm. Well, I think I'm done here now, can't think of anything else to say. Sorry everyone.

Oh, well I actually meant friendly comments on this thread... oh dear. And I'm afraid I can't work out why someone would be unwilling to post friendly comments on a thread.
  11. dulwichdoll Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- I > started off defending Poopys right to post. Well, no - actually your first post on here was to complain about the cliqueyness of this forum. Still not sure about the 'gang' thing, either. If you're just talking about this thread, lots of people have posted for and against the OP. And when it drifted to talking about you and your posts quite a variety of opinions have been aired, too. If you don't want advice - fair enough. But there have been friendly and unfriendly responses to you, and you only seem to be responding to the latter.
  12. I've started, so I'll finish. Arf

  14. Sorry, Jay and Jah - guilty on both counts as charged.
  15. Are you in fact, William III of England, wrongfully prevented from taking the throne by that wicked naughty man Henry I and talking to us through a loophole in the space/time* continuum? *Yes, I know but the 'time continuum' doesn't sound as good. And anyway, this isn't the New Forest, is it?
  16. Aw, bless you, I bet you were. And I can just imagine you looking awfully sweet in your best frilly get-up and a bald head, with your mum sniffing and your dad sticking out his chest with pride. And here you are all grown up! Sorry, as you were.
  17. Couldn't you park the car in the stables? It's rather nice - how much if you just buy the cute garden house?
  18. Pauline Fowler? Never liked her.

  20. Spartacus, DD said she specifically complained about your post. So Admin will have removed it. I would also assume that if she complains about Will_i_am's it will be removed too.
  21. I don't think that this is a misogynistic forum.
  22. Seems a pity to go with one person's point of view rather than the many that were posted immediately after the event - but at the end of the day, it's got to be up to each person what they feel happy with doing. Mikecg, sorry you were made to feel uncomfortable - I thought I saw you chatting happily with the lovely Hibbs among other ladies ;-) (we met briefly, not sure if you remember me) - so hoping you didn't have a wholly dreadful time.
