  1. Perhaps the thread should be locked then.
  2. MM, I fail to see how the major fault lies with the hoaxers and not management. When stars etc. check into hotels they usually check in under another name and that name has to be used when being put through to their room. A similar sort of procedure should be in place for famous people in hospitals. The fact that the hospital did not have one, or that they don't drill their staff adequately enough, or don't hire someone with the ability to decipher accents is their fault.
  3. I am really fussy about what chicken I will buy. Good welfare chicken and turkey supplier is at Herne Hill market on Sundays and Brockley on Saturdays. Fosse Meadows Farm - they used to be local Peckham boys but now have a farm up in Leicestershire. You can try their chicken before you buy as they cook the breasts there to taste. Also serve sandwiches. They do chicken burgers, chicken sausages, as well as whole chickens and parts including livers.

You have 2 posts on the 3rd December recommending your partner which are still there. You also recommend your own business which is not in ED. How have I been rude to you.
  5. Calling them from a landline or mobile? Most landlines now include them and the 0870 in their call packages. Mine does. It's the 0844 numbers that now cost a bomb. I noticed that Southwark Parking now use an 0844 number.
  6. I saw that - he had two adverts up. Potato chips Shorty? Would that be crisps or fries?
  7. Saffron Will tell my friend what you said about the genetic link possibility. I didn't know that there was a shingles vaccine. Is it routinely given? Your mother was given it because your dad's bout could have set her off?
  8. I am sure she didn't think she was signing up for such a hideous pregnancy which has just started. What she has is vile; I know several women it has happened to and it quite often lasts the entire pregnancy.
  9. Their ginger loaf cake with icing is rather nice.
  10. Bringing the future monarch into the world sounds like it is going to be jolly hard work for La Duchesse and probably not what she signed up for. There would always be the possibility she could have the same thing again so wonder how keen she would be to pop out another one. I have no fondness for them, but I cannot understand the media city camped outside the hospital for someone who is going through. I really think it the should be banned from being there. It's incredibly intrusive when you aren't feeling well.

    Taps nose.

Not fussy when when you get to my time of > life. Was that thanks for no thanks aimed at me? I did send you a PM which you haven't picked up yet. Bro seems to be preferred by Mr. W. Rot.

Otta, These? I thought my query was short and to the point. Sorry I offended you.

Can you confirm that businesses aren't supposed to be advertising in the for sale section and also cannot big themselves up more than once in the business section. And, they have to have an ED address or can it be further afield?

A few weeks > later they were advertising a furnished flat for > rent. Did you flag that up in their flat advertisement? I remember seeing that first advert where they were asking for things to furnish the flat with.

Too many people not putting Sold in the subject line but instead adding onto their post which brings it up to the top again rather pointlessly. Ok, great that your item has sold but we don't all need to know about it.
  18. Rescue places sell animals. A pedigree breeder who sells puppies and can show that all the relevant health tests have been done on the dam and sire is being responsible. I certainly wouldn't expect them to give them away for free. And, just because they are a Kennel Club approved breeder doesn't mean that they have the animals best interests at heart. You only have to look at (most) Bassets, Pugs, German Shepherds, English Bulldogs, and watch the two programmes of Pedigree Dogs Exposed to see that Kennel Clubs still has a long way to go.
  19. Saffron, Is chickenpox worse than shingles? I have heard of people getting shingles near their eyes and all over their face and that it can be very painful and I presume dangerous. And, I have a friend who had chickenpox twice, once as a child and then again as an adult. She had it everywhere as an adult and had to take 3 weeks off work.
  20. Sounds like Southwark set up the Lucas Gdns parking zone with the knowledge that this would happen and then they could roll out more CPZs. Did no one object to the Lucas Gardens CPZ? Do you really want to have to pay and provide a permit for any visitor or tradesperson coming to your house?
  21. Excellent! How did they taste?
  22. Do you have AA membership or know someone who does as they will come out and do it for you?
  23. Maybe the dough comes in pre-mixed so the flour doesn't go flying about. I hope so. I think gluten free pizza is a great idea.

I have seen it done on a table, a chair, and on the floor. It's not an urban myth.
  25. But doesn't the proximity to non gluten free pizzas pose a potential problem?
