  1. Why shouldn't the Tories set the terms of the exit- after all they are the DEMOCRATICALLY elected government.
  2. Interesting programme... http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b07k7m4x/panorama-why-we-voted-to-leave-britain-speaks
  3. No one in London will escape from this http://www.airqualitynews.com/2015/05/11/london-construction-sector-air-quality-site-launched/
  4. What about lorries and vans? If they are included then the price of all goods will rise.... The poorest areas have the highest pollution because the poor people drive the older cars and they are driving around all day because they have no jobs (visit, for examples, Newham, Croydon and you will see the volume of traffic on the roads at all times). Also, education is needed- poor people tend to think- I need a new car and then buy something old for ?200 and run it into the ground.... Other cities have tried other methods https://www.theguardian.com/cities/2014/mar/20/licence-plate-driving-bans-paris-ineffective-air-pollution further down the article it appears that Berlin has been the most successful (why it is last on the list beats me) Electric cars are scary- I did not realise that I use my hearing INITIALLY when crossing the road and nearly got run over by an almost silent electric car- it was very alarming.
  5. If a strike is called then the whole membership are supposed to come out. 85,000 out of 377,000 voted to strike =22.5%
  6. I meant she can always go and live in the EU area....as can most of the rich remainers whose comfortable little lives are totally unaffected by what's going on out of London
  7. When Labour were in they removed a substantial number of immigration controls on non-european immigrants perhaps for nefarious reasons- and obviously did not consider the repercussions in their heartlands http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/immigration/7198329/Labours-secret-plan-to-lure-migrants.html The first indication that the people were concerned should have been the 2006 local council elections when the BNP won 12 seats in Barking and Dagenham- but then the people of that area are poorly educated, they are not rich and wtf do they know eh?
  8. Since many children are driven to and from school and everywhere else, and he obviously hasn't been advised of this http://www.airqualitynews.com/2016/02/16/higher-air-pollution-health-risk-inside-car-study-finds/ then it's ridiculous and is obviously unfair on poorer people...I suppose it will satisfy the people that think those on benefits, and the lower paid, will no longer be able to afford to drive.... The zone should not be extended
  9. Well, she can always go and live there...the rest of the country can't wait to get shot of it- even Ebbw Vale - a town that received quite a lot of EU money as well. Nid aur yw popeth melyn...
  10. Yes 90% of 24.7% turn out... Class sizes increased under Bliar because the heat was on to maximise C grades- so the most able classes were increased, and the weaker classes were increased so that the borderline C/D grade classes were smaller to ensure the C grades. Blair had 13 years to do something about the state of the education but he did nothing...why- especially since his mantra was Education, Education, Education? So stop knocking the Tories because Labour are just as bad- if not worse because they make promises and renege. At least the kids in academies do not get used as political footballs.
  11. This is them still working to rule over the driver-only trains I suspect...the RMT obviously do not want to lose some of their membership.
  12. 'the brussels unelected elite' to me represents the unaccountable faceless bureaucrats that have made many lives a misery- and I would compare them to the party faithful in the old Soviet regime
  13. All this proves is that everyone is concerned more about how big the cake is- and not how it is shared out.
  14. It's not just working class/ middle class any more- there is a distinct underclass that has been dispossessed, ill-educated and has no hope... I have followed Charles Murray's work since I read his Sunday times essay in the 1980s. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/comment/telegraph-view/8698227/A-palpable-change-inthenational-mood.html
  15. No-one could have had any kind of concrete plan about what to do next because it is an unknown quantity...there will be years of wrangling- It took Greenland 9 years to get agreement over fishing rights after it became independent of Denmark and left the EU. Just goes to show what a grasping, power crazy bunch of loonies we have hopefully left behind.
  16. Yes- well done Nigel (Old Alleynian). He is now sort of redundant. As Nigel said he was never a career politician, and David Cameron can eat his words....
  17. Yes- the left have succeeded in destroying any aspirations the working classes may have had by getting rid of grammar schools (public school educated labourite Anthony Crosland) and everything else ???? said. After all, most middle class lefties are probably from working class stock and have parents that went to grammar schools, but what is the point of being middle class if there is no-one to look down on? Blair finished off the working class by failing to equip them with a trade, and trying to make them go to uni to do stupid courses- and then he filled the skills gap with east europeans. So now what would have been the working class is now an underclass on benefits....AND that is what Labour wants- uneducated, dependent on the State...voting for them with the hope of an increase in benefits.....or a better council house.

In gynaecological circles a woman who has her first child at 35 or over is an 'elderly primagravida' and could well be a MILF as well...
  21. Comment of the Year ...actually it has been happening with disgusting monotonous regularity in the locale- but then I get the distinct impression that some EDFers don't get out much these days.
  22. You can't combine the NASUWT and the NUT- teachers specifically avoid the NUT because they are so militant and so join the other unions (ATL, Voice (formerly P.A.T- 20,000 members and a no-strike policy) because ALL teachers need Union support for one reason or another.
  23. How could you forget the Danes Lordship...
  24. The pension is very good- the summer (the other holidays are full of marking and prep) holiday is great (except for having to pay top dollar every year because it's in the school holidays)- most of the unnecessary paperwork etc is passed down from senior staff in schools and is micro-management and monitoring, but the teachers, especially the younger ones, will not complain.

How do you know they are not GILFs? Although given that women are starting to breed in their late 30s I suppose they are probably MILFs....up to the ears in nappies etc...they won't have the time for much else- especially since they won't have the energy -being older 'n all, and spending their spare time in the gym.
