Yeah I just seen signs up at the end of Landells and on LL near there, asking for information from witnesses. Time quoted was 1.10am, not too many folks around at that time on a Tuesday I'd expect.

Yeah true. However, getting Ottke to fight anyone decent was near impossible (and exactly impossible getting him to fight outside Germany !).

People used to say that Froch is not as good ad Calzaghe and won't achieve the same legacy. I think Froch's legacy now outshines Calzaghe's, just based on who he's faced. IMO Calzaghe would have beaten Froch on points, but legacy-wise Froch is the man now. Calzaghe has too many em question marks over who he fought at end of his career.

I'm looking at a 1960's bungalow with what appear to be asbestos soffits (the horizontal under-surface, immediately underneath the overhanging bit of the roof). Has anyone had asbestos assessed / checked by a specialist ? If so what's the process / pitfalls ? I've heard that if left undisturbed there's no issues but in disturbing it lie potential issues, but that's all I know (think I know). Any advice appreciated.

LL cordoned-off at Plough end of junction by Dulwich library. You can still go South to FH from that junction, or cross from Barry Rd to Dulwich park area. Looks like may open soon as pranged car and motorbike been loaded onto recovery wagon.

It was an evenly matched fight, in theory could have gone either way. Froch played a better game this time, but he'll always talk as if his wins are preordained ! Groves looked gutted, as he should be, but he'll come back. Froch v Chavez Jr is something to look forward to. He shouldn't fight GGG because he'll be stopped in 4, maybe sooner.

Yes there's many potential angles on this one, so I daren't speculate (but I fancy Froch). For me, it's a guaranteed British tear-up with two quality fighters. Of course there could well be a 3rd contest if Groves wins, but only just.
