There's no way they can take this stuff, straight to police. Not only can you describe what was stolen, you have a culprit. Report ASAP. The garages were built for storing cars and bikes.

I was told by Southwark when I moved to ED in 1990 that the tube extension would take some years before it reaches ED, "possibly as long as 11 years". 24 years later its literally no closer to being built, so we can flap our gums all day about it - but it ain't coming.

Punctuation is overrated, if you seriously can't grasp the meaning of what someone is trying to say because of a missing semi-colon then you need to search Wikipedia, under 'Anal'.

I'm with you on sausages to a point Louisa but once in a while they are SO bad that they don't really pass as a sausage just because of their shape. A non-shite sausage doesn't have to be gourmet.

I get that - having spent a year in Glasgow. But down here potato in a fry-up is just plain wrong. I blame it (as someone above did) on the Americans, but also now on the Scots, Irish and IOMers. Bloody foreigners ruining our 'culture' (see Rye Lane thread).

I've been going to the one next to Palmerston recently - does what it says on the tin. If I want a gourmet full English (surely a slight oxymoron) I'll cook it at home.

But it's not the purchaser paying what they want unless they're paying cash (ie. their own money with no loan). When you are borrowing and require the lender to take on the majority of the financial risk they will work to their own formula, cardboard houses just don't cut it with them perhaps. -
For me it's a blend of city and country, if you can work it so not all eggs are in one basket - works as long as your able to drive.

Jacqui - Will PM you the recipe - nowt wild it's one of Madhur's, a great cross between Indian and SE Asian ingredients tho (if you like that sort of thing). -
The footage and story of that assault was shocking. This kind of assault on people just out shopping should be 40 not 4 years penalty IMO.
